because usb mounting doesn't work, what alternatives should i use?

Plug in the USB cable and boot into clockwork. You can moun in there.

Installed SafeStrap via Stock Rom rooted. Booted to Safe system and installed AXI0M

But USB mount is working. It works on my razr at least. Mounts both internal and external storage .

I can't see how that is possible.

The USB.apk isn't even in the build. I took it out because it was searching and eating battery.

I can provide screen shots for you if you don't believe me. I thought it was odd myself. I flashed the rom lastnight, and i tried to mount usb storage for the hell of it and it mounted. I can transfer files and everything.

You mean you can mount from Windows? I know you can mount it from bootstrap/safestrap but if you can mount from Windows it must be some kind of Miracle, Halleluah

In Linux and OSX, I don't have Windows.

Yes it mounted in windows lol. I have no idea how it did, and now i'm going to look like an rear end because I can't get it to do it now.... that figures!!

I rebooted once after flashing, so maybe that's why its not working now. I had USB debugging enabled if that would of made a difference.

But honest it was definitely working last night! I transferred music to my phone after the flash!

Now it looks like im really screwed.... I just rebooted to see if i could get it to work, and now "Android is upgrading" about 130 apps. Last time this happened I got nothing but FC's. Has anyone figured this issue out? I've followed everystep to install the rom including formatting the system partition.

Shouldn't be a issue. ICS will always do that when it rebuilds cache and dalvik.

Is anyone having issues with the lighted keys at the bottom. Mine do not light up

Did you use MasturMod? If so, that could be y it broke. I had to wipe and reset to get mine to work.

Well it just did the same thing Dhackers rom did. It keeps giving force close windows and it won't let me do anything. I know i'm not the first one this has happened to. I've seen others in the thread with the same issue. I'm Fastbooting back to .173 now.
