Excellent progress lately. step-son and I even mowed the whole lawn (after repairing the Murray) and my wife approved me mowing the back yard!

When I first sorted out how to fund the expensive un-insured prescription, I learned that my regular pharmacy wasn't on the list for that credit card company and had to have the Rx moved to an alternative, and dammit they had to order a new stock of that med, another day lost before re-suming the anti-diarrhea program. Can you relate to a raw butt-hole? But it has resumed beginning today.
Also, today ended with a repaired lower denture and I've polished off a Jersey Mike Pastrami with extra sauerkraut! Yummy!
More progress to come...

Check out Blink Health for prescriptions.
There are a few of these types of services out there. Very worth checking into. I've personally not looked at Blink, but I will. Kelly, do you have personal experience with them or know someone who does?

Yes, the firm I work for has represented the founders, and several of us in the office have used the product successfully. Medications that are patent-protected typically don't offer savings, but once off patent, or generic, it's worth checking out.

I'm getting nearly identical savings using a different company. I'll check out Blink next time - I'm on Omeprazole and Atoravastatin.

Those two sound very familiar Like me too. Very lucky to have the V. A. to help with my prescriptions. I have two inhalers that would run about $400.00 a month apiece.

I'm lucky that I am young enough to only need those two, and then only because I choose to. My doctor says I should control my triglycerides, but there was a time when they were well above 600 ,and I had 0 health issues, so I'm doing it only for the sake of being sure until I know more about how my body reacts to the meds and if I really need to lower the levels or not (currently 250).
The Omeprazole is simply for GERD - which has been affecting me quite badly in the last couple of years.
@Tom - glad to hear things are really on the mend for you - and the that Buick is no longer a glorified paperweight.

Wow, been a month since I checked in here ... too much has transpired for a complete accounting, but to stay 'mostly' on-topic, health-wise the only ongoing issue seems to be the "C- Diff" bug I carried out of the hosp after surgery. 3 different antibiotic series haven't killed it and I've lost a lot of weight cuz I don't have much appetite (and the dang lower dentures won't let me chew/eat the meat I love - missin' a bunch of protein). 260#+ last year and 182# now ... all new clothes!
Financially, life is good! Wife driving a 2008 Lexus 400 Hybrid (paid for), I'm in a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid (with car payments for the first time since forever) and yesterday my stepson traded my crappy old Camry in on a 2008 Chevy Malibu and he did his own loan application (no co-signer).

My Ford, his Chev, younger step-dotter's Pontiac are all Red ... Judy's 'old' Lexus is just plain ol' black.

On-going - Since the demise of Jenn's Torrent, her new (used) Honda means Judy no longer has the only black ride in our fleet!

Strength still good (for 75-lol), so I "did" THE NIGHT RACE week" and had lot of good times with old and new friends.
If it doesn't bore ya, check Twitter/Periscope for Tom in Bristol stuff or the Oatmeal-cookie thread here.
