I have beel all thru framework-res.apk and can find nothing at all, does anyone have any tips please? iam dual booted running on jb 4.1.2.. thanks

I haven't tried this myself, but try going to framwwork-res.apk/res/layout/keyguard_screen_unlock_portrait.xml and change line 7

You will want to change android:textColor="?textColorPrimary" to android:textColor="#ff[hexcolorcode]"

Sorry, I thought you would have to change it there. Try searching through the layout folder looking for the lock screen clock. I know there are some "zz" lockscreen .xml and it may be in there. Sorry I can tell you a definitive location, but finding it is part of the fun

i did see the zz files, there are alot of files,lol, taking a break, my eyes are buggn out, whew.. tyty

i did see pretty much the same files in systemUI as well

I could be wrong but I think the lock screen clock XML is in system-Ui..and I'm thinking it wasn't a zzz..it's under values/styles/colors..if memory serves... But I could be wrong

apktool, java, blah blah, decompile, recompile, i got this.. thanks for your help. all a new experience for me, have never used any of this stuff

I can't remember off the top of my head where it is exactly, but you have to change 2 separate items to change the clock. It's a key guard_lock screen_clock_foreground and _background. When I can get to my laptop I'll find it.

But like you said, searching for it is half the fun!
