for those curious about updating viperDNA to the new 2.04 verizon update....it wont be immediate

since so many jars/apks were changed im essentially reporting everything to the newest base rather than just being able to use existing stuff....which will be time consuming....shouldnt be as long as the 1.0.1 to 1.1.0 period was....but public releases wont be this week at the least (though potentially betas by next weekend)

So in order to get to 1.3 I need to go from 1.0 to 1.1, then 1.1 to 1.2 and so on?
And just need to flash the updates right? No kernel? I'm on 1.0 now.

Yes? If you are on 1.1.0 you will flash in order 1.1.1 then 1.1.2 then 1.1.3. Nothing needed in the way of kernal.
I would reboot after each instal just so everything sits nice. And i would recommend a backup before you begin.

The whole process should only take a few min.

Ok got a serious issue....after every update even the last one I'm getting a force close on HTC sense.....I can't access my apps....what happened?

No you dont have to. Thats just a common problem with sence if you did.
1Did you get/take vzw ota update?
2 did you wipe cache/dalvic?

I dl the updates and installed them through twrp recovery. No I didn't wipe anything cause the script wipes those and figured it was an update.....I'm about to flash that kernel on the op....

what kernal wher you on? if you flash any other kernal after op kernal you must flash back stock first. I think aroma has problems wiping/ i would manually wipe cache and dalvic. The only thing i have seen with HTC Sence FC is messing with dpi though.

Not sure it was from xda and said to go with original viper Rom....ill flash the op one and see what's up.

If everything was working on 1.1.0 it shouldnt be kernal related. I would try wiping first/ trying look at dpi second/ restore nano third.
and last but hopefully not needed/ factory reset / format system X3 start over..

You said you get to apps, can you pull down status bar and get to quick settings?

no i cant get to my apps...every time i hit the app drawer it force closes.....i can get to settings and pulldown fine.

Pull down status bar and on bottom right go to quick settings
then at the top hit venom tweaks
bottom right Misc

See what lcd density is at?
