First, is your router set up to do mac address filtering? If so, your mac address might be different under the aosp based roms. Check that first. I know the 4.2 and 4.3 Cyanogen roms change the mac address.

One more thing to try is go to settings then wifi. Select menu then advanced wifi. From there, ensure "avoid poor wifi connections" is not selected.

Hopefully, either or both of those suggestions should fix your issue.

I couldn't get my wifi working after that command, I just wiped out Slot 1, remade it, and reflashed - working perfect this time.

That is originally a CM feature but probably isn't too terrible to port.

Thanks for the reply Nitro, much appreciated.  It's not a major issue, just moreso of a convenience. 

I've got 1 other question for you, and I doubt it's rom related.  Is there anything in Eclipse that would prevent me from disabling the lock screen (Pin) when connected to home/work wifi network via a Tasker profile?  The same profile I used on CM in Tasker is only working intermittently on Eclipse - sometimes it bypasses the lock, others I have to enter the pin.  Nothing has changed & I've checked every setting I can think of.  I did a clean/fresh install of Eclipse 5.1 so I started with a clean slate.  Again, let me reiterate that this is a minor issue - mainly a convenience for lazy folks like myself

I forgot to add in my earlier post, the app Unlock With Wifi (Paid Version) from the Play Store still works without any issue, so in the meantime, I deactivated my Tasker profile & went back to using that app.

You have to edit the vold.fstab file in system/etc to make your sdcard-ext the default storage for everything. Or you could grab the camera/gallery apk from a stock deodexed ROM & push it to system/app.

For anyone running v5.1 build 6, do you know if additional CPU governors can be installed? If so, how? I've done it before but haven't tried on any 4.3 roms.

Anyone wanting to add soft keys to this ROM, open build.prop in a text editor and scroll to the bottom and add this text

qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

Then menu > save and exit

Reboot.

(You will needed system mounted R/W )

Both hardware and software keys will be functional with this method.

I use AdjBrightness from the play store
to turn off hard key Backlights

Yes I have One Solution in the future with Wifi when flashing a New ROM...

• After you flash your ROM & Gapp...Reboot
• When you get to the Start Screen let it settle for 5 Minutes
• Then Reboot again..
• Start screen...Now Set up your WiFi...Work everytime for me...

Now, any ideas why my Play Store will not allow me access on V 5.1?
