You can probably dirty flash. I always do clean flashes, though, because if it's a fresh install, then I know that any problems I experience are due to the rom and not the flashing process.

btw, I'll upload a v2.1 version when I get home tonight that includes the moto camera and the rest of the changes... If you'd rather wait for that.

I keep having problems with blank white MMS's. This is happening to my friend and I who both have your same build (2.0) and same phone. Solutions?

By mms do you mean picture messages, or no messages at all will show up? Have you checked the messaging settings to make sure nothing is unchecked?

try installing handcent to see if they show up then (just to make sure your current setup can actually receive mms). Also, did you dirty flash or fresh install the rom?

DIrty. But I was having issues with a clean setup. It sometimes works, but it sometimes doesn't.

Hmm, I'm sorry it's not working, but I haven't encountered this problem myself at all. I always do fresh installs no matter what, so that might be the issue, but you said that you had problems even when you had done that. You could also try clearing cache and dalvik in safestrap. If none of that works, then I suggest taking the stock messaging apk (or whatever messaging apk you choose) and drop it into system/app and set permissions to r-w-r-r. I'll wait and see if anyone else has this problem.

One more thing... does it only happen when specific people text you, or is it random? It might have something to do with the quality or proportions of the pic being sent. These things can be touchy at times.

I actually haven't tried it with other people. It would be odd if it doesn't work between two people who have your build haha :P

HAHA! I'm literally the only person I know who flashes custom roms, so I can't test that... I wouldn't rule that out completely.

Man can't figure it out downloaded 2nd test with can sometimes its faster than $#!+ and then just like that it slows down. Its not just your build seems to happen on them all. Stock is pretty good but I can notice on it to. Never had this phone on ICS I here it was better before JB.

Two words... Motorola X (Ok, one word and a letter).

And hey... maybe when 4.2 rolls out, then everything will be perfect! :P

Yeah I keep on thinking there is gonna be some kind of miracle but I dont think its gonna happen. I don't have a lot of faith in Moto. I had a Bio rooted on ICS leak worked fine then Moto released it and there still having problems glad I sold it when I did lol.

I feel like our phone will see 4.2. Not only is Blur very similar to AOSP, but the jump isn't so large anyway. Additionally, it looks like Samsung will be putting 4.2 on the GSIII very soon which will make Motorola, who promised faster and more frequently software updates last year, look bad.

Performance is noticeably better on 2.1. Keep up the good work!
