Does this ROM support Bluetooth Low Energy? I'm trying to connect my fitbit to the phone. I never used it with 100% stock firmware but the app description on the Play Store and the fitbit website both say the RAZR HD Maxx is supported. Just curious if there's something I need to do to get it working or not. It works fine on my Nexus 7 though, but thast's 4.4.2 of course, but at least I know its not the fitbit itself.

Bluetooth Low Energy is more of hardware support issue but yes since this is stock ROM you should be good to go

The Moto X takes a nano sim card whereas the HD takes a micro sim, so I assume you cut it down to the nano size?

Yes I know I have the Sim card adapter to make it work but for some reason it does not recognize it. I called Verizon and the rep told me something I didn't know and still don't know if its true. She said that Verizon no longer retires there Sim cards right away in other words you can have two Sim cards for your phone you can only use one at a time obviously. So if I can find my old Sim which is Micro I can go on line switch them over and it will work. I'll post and let ya all know.

That is what I had to do when switching from the Bionic to the HD. I actually just went into the Verizon store (not the local authorized dealer) and they switched it over with the new sims for free. My Bionic still has the SIMs in it so I guess I can use it if anything borks out HA HA...

It seems to me that I wrote about this problem.

Some apps sometime force closes without any warnings. Just disappearing and screen goes to desktop.

For example, browser - when i try to back to page before or Instagram - when i try to open page News - I subscribed.

It was in 3.5 and newer roms. And it is never happened on cm or stock.

Jp1044, could you solve it please?

I can't solve it actually :) as I've never run into the problem before. I've tried to re produce what you describe and I've never been able to

The zip in the OP should work for all recoveries. Are you getting an error?

No sad to say I sold the phone and the person wants CWM on it. So I can just flash it? I have been on TWRP for over a year never thought about it. Thanks

Hi there! I have an issue - front camera isn't working in both of built-in Camera apps. FC appears or image "divides" at 3 stripes. frown.gif
Nexesque 3.8 (clean install)
Yes, from the 3.7 version a I usually have a Browser FC & gapps FC, like com.android.gapps process error. At 3.6 everything had been fine.

I installed this ROM with Safestrap and I have to say it is great! There are two issues that I'm having however:

1) When I charge the phone overnight, it gets uncomfortably warm. This never happened to me before on stock.

2) Battery life seems to be worse than stock. As you can see from the screenshot, the battery lasted me a little over 8 hours before I had to charge. This is pretty alarming considering the huge battery this phone has.

Other than those issues, I am loving this ROM.

I think battery reporting is wrong... It stays at 1% for a long time. Also, the overheating occurs during gaming as well which leads to stuttering performance.

I noticed that my RAZR HD always stayed at 1% for a long time before ever really dying. It didn't matter what ROM I flashed or how I "calibrated" it. But then again my battery isn't the best in the first place.

You don't stick at 1% forever?

It doesn't get down to 1% or overheat... Under heavy load for a few hours+normal daily use it only hits 50 or so %

Interesting. 3.7 SHOULD have issues as that's the version with the modified kernel in it so I could definitely see that. In 3.8 that was removed and the stock kernel is being used so you shouldnt have any issues. I'll look and see if there's any leftovers I forgot.
