Edit: Download link in OP updated as well!

Thanks a lot! It is a really good rom now!

Could you please activate build-in Sound recorder? I now, that is need to add "<category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />" into AndroidManifest.xml of soundrecorder.apk, but I can't decompile APK :(

I believe part of the attraction of this ROM is the clean non-bloat feel.

Any reason you can't side load it?

I'll see if I can change it and then upload it as a flashable zip. There's probably an app in the play store that will do the same thing for now?

I

Sure thing! Let me know if there's anything you want to see!As nobe said, the kernel is included with the ROM but you can install arghhh kernel if you want to over clock. Sent from my Nexesque DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk Pro
Just wanted to let everyone know that the arghhh kernel might let you oc and mod the device but it might make some bluetooth or Wifi functions not work afterwards. Since I rely on bluetooth and Wifi constantly I would say it is up to the user to flash on top of the Rom but a word of warning would also be applied to it. I originally used the arghhh kernel but noticed the problems that arose from using it so now I rely on the stock kernel Nexesque offers and haven't had a single problem since. . . Great work as always JP. As always your time and sacrifice to continue building on this Rom is valuable to all who have had the pleasure in running this. No need for sarcasm. I work in design and notice these kinds of things immediately. Just being friendly and pointing it out as it isn't stock spacing like all the other icons and it was correct on pre 3.7 versions of the rom. Figured JP would like to know.

And to clarify it isn't 1 or 2 pixels off. It is spaced 1 or 2 pixels on the right. The default spacing is much larger than that as evidenced on the left of the wifi icon and all others icons. See attached pics.

I wasn't completely trying to be a smarta$$ but yeah..People do seem to pick out some of the craziest things to point out sometimes. Looking at that screenshot, the OCD in me wasn't twitching but I do understand visual issues that pop up sometimes...especially when I'm the cause of them on my own themes!

I've never had any problems using arghhh kernel on any rooted stock or stock based ROMs. Everything has always worked for me. I'm using his kernel now. Guess its just touch and go for certain phones. If anyone does try it and has problems just make a backup first and if have to restore a back up just select the boot image to restore. Don't have to restore system or data, or use Flashify from the place store to make back ups of your kernel.

Most definitely, it depends on the device. You're one of the lucky ones. Lol

Is anyone able to send 'Group Texts' with this ROM? When I use the included messaging program and I send to multiple recepients, the texts are separate/individual texts.  Can't see where the option is to specifically send a 'Group Text'.

Also, if I use the newest Google Hangouts to send a 'Group MMS' it just says 'message not sent' error.

Thanks for your help.

Hi!

Anybody with Razr Maxx HD cat send me the file  batterystats.bin in the data/system/ directory?

I have a weird behaviour: when my battery voltage get as low as 4v my android tells me I have 1% left of battery, but my phone will remain active for two more days.

I tried deleting that file, but I think that after disabling logging and some other tweaks, I think that android doesn't update anymore this file and I get incorrect battery readings.

I would like to see if with another file from any of you I can get more realistic readings.

Thanks, Diego

Does this ROM support Bluetooth Low Energy? I'm trying to connect my fitbit to the phone. I never used it with 100% stock firmware but the app description on the Play Store and the fitbit website both say the RAZR HD Maxx is supported. Just curious if there's something I need to do to get it working or not. It works fine on my Nexus 7 though, but thast's 4.4.2 of course, but at least I know its not the fitbit itself.

The batterystats.bin file doesn't actually determine the battery percentage, it just stores what you see when you go to Settings > Battery. I would recommend letting the phone completely discharge to the point where it won't come back on by pressing the power button then plug it in and let it charge to 100% without interruption. That should clear up that problem. My phone does the same thing as yours but not to the extent you explained.

The Moto X takes a nano sim card whereas the HD takes a micro sim, so I assume you cut it down to the nano size?
