Hello, love the rom been using it for awhile. Just updated to 3.7 and I did a search and can't seem to find any info on this.

My wifi icon is moving from side to side in the top notification area for no apparent reason. I see that kit kat changes the icon to white but why is it moving.

Everything else seems to be working perfect.

Did a complete wipe, mount ,installed rom ,and then wiped cache.

Would rather not do that again, so hopefully It is a setting I am missing?

Also, posted on xda sorry for the double post but it is just driving me crazy because I absolutely love this rom..

The WiFi icon issue is not a setting. I have the same issue on 86ed. There are images that are there but not showing up that push the WiFi signal icons. It is actually pretty cool looking on mine so I think I am going to just leave it that way. It will not harm anything.

Have the same WiFi icon issue. Distracting. It shifts a few pixels right when it isn't showing the data arrows over the signal strength. Should be an easy fix and I hope it is fixed soon. Otherwise 3.7 is real nice.

First off, big thanks to jp1044!  Finally a ROM that makes me happy with this phone.

 

I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble with backing up data to Google?  That is, the setting at "Privacy":"Backup & Restore":"Backup account" showing up as "No account is currently storing backed up data"?

 

I wonder if it's a similar issue as

I did some more digging and apparently the first two entries don't do anything (

). Disabling logcat is still valid though. I've since added these tweaks and haven't really seen that much of a difference.

I don't think it's the ROM I think it's the stupid NoFrills CPU. How do I get the Governor back to stock - what is the stock Governor and I/O setting for this phone??

Stock Gov and Scheduler is interactive with deadline. But I have been seeing great Battery Performance using row scheduler with msm-dcvs.

Hi, I love this rom. From birth with Adam, all the way until now that JP has taken over. Seriously a great, clean rom, backed by some smart a$$ dudes.. One thing I have been trying to do with no luck though, is get the original car home mode that came with the stock Motorola blur os. I thought it was a decent feature, especially as I use my phone so much in my car. I am no developer, but I tried to get the CarHome.apk from another rom and install it into my phone, with no avail. I think I need more than just the APK anyway. I think I remember seeing some motoroladockservices item running in the past, which I may also require. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Oh, one More thing, maybe not a bug, but I cant seem to get my phone to automatically connect to Bluetooth devices when in range of already paired devices, this is a new thing as of this rom, anyone else experiencing this??

I used car dock all the time too. I just bought Car Home Ultra. Never looked back. Wish Google would just make a clean car mode that was customizable with a cards style.

My gift to those who use it. This is the Carhome.apk for the system app. Boot into recovery and install. No wipe needed.

Yeah no matter what governor and I/O scheduler I pick NOFrills eats my battery - never lasted more than 12-14 hours when I used to get 48+. I've uninstalled that program only and battery life is back to normal! Never again!

yea, I noticed that also, low battery life and overheating everytime I rebooted, NOFrills would revert to the highest cpu rating I have reverted to 3.6 and all is well Maybe my RAZR is on it's last legs... LOL

Same exact experience here and solution. Here's looking forward to 3.8 with a fixed wifi icon and more 3.6-like battery.
