jp1044,is the wifi icon supposed to be white instead of blue on 3.7 ?

Sent From My Windows 8.1 Surface Tablet

So im used to the blue going white when I don't have a good data connection; obviously 4g or 3g disappears when there's totally not a connection.

What happens when I still technically have 3/4g but not the data connection now that everything is white all the time?

please make a xt925 version!!! please please please. The little turotial/build.prop edits dont work good enough. It needs to be based on a xt925 rom .

thanks a lot

Solved overheating problem. I adjusted the no frills cpu settings and played with it until my razr was overheating no longer, it was set to the highest cpu settings to begin with

I have something odd happening

I notice that the center icons (blutooth, speaker off, alarm and wifi) shift left to right constantly (3 sec's) (looks animated now)

I am using nova launcher and  dirty flashed

Anyone else?

Yes this is an issue. Everything shifts to the left when there is wifi activity and shifts back when there isn't. I will address this in the next update.

I wish I could answer this but to be honest I've been looking for the answer to this ever since I started using governors. This is a pretty good post that explains each governor:

No frills should be in the app drawer

+1

just flashed Nexesque 3.5 with SS 3.12 for XT926 maxx

by far the best ROM for performance.

encountered error when opening the supplied browser, though...

browser wont open and there's error msg " unfortunately com.goggle.process.gapps has stopped " something like that...

wonder what i did wrong ? any suggestions ?

currently replaced the browser with dolphin and no more error msg appear.

Has anyone responded to this issue? I am having the exact same problem with version 3.7

Did you wipe data when you flashed 3.7?

Try re-downloading the Rom, follow instructions on OP and you should be good. I have zero issues with the Rom and am as happy as ever on Nexesque. Thanks JP1044!

try to delete hangouts app before sign in into google account. It helped to me with another rom. But nexesque working perfectly to me now.

I have 8% battery drain per night. Is it normal? I set smartassV2 and deadline in nofrills cpu app.

Had the same issue before with 3.5 (gapps/browser FC).  i ended up re-downloading and re-installing the rom..  problem fixed. It happened when i decided to "wipe the slate clean" and re-install the ROM (was perfect prior).   Perhaps a bad or corrupted download(?).  Haven't had an issue with 3.7.   Thanks for the Awesome ROM JP!

small bug I've encountered.  When i used the timer on the clock app.. and hit home... or back... i get a clock FC.  When i re-open the clock all is working well... and still counting down. No issues... just thought i would share.  Happen to anyone else?

Yes that is the build.prop tweaks/hack I was refering to. It doesnt work that good and I always have to fiddle with my network settings after reboots. All it would take is for the developer to take a base xt925 rom and apply the same changes to it that he applied to this xt926 ROM. I'd do it myself if I knew how.

Hello good people!!

I've been using this rom for quite some time even though I'm a gsm user on T-mobile. (I've unlocked the gsm capabilities). While I was on T-mobile, before using this phone, I owned a nexus 4, but it never had the battery life I was looking for so I sold it and bought a razr HD. :) Anyways.. to cut to the chase I was missing the raw speed and power of the Nexus 4 so I've disabled logging on my razr to make it go blazing fast :)))))))))))) since the razr was bogged down by having to log and run programs at the same time with just 2 cores. Just add these 3 lines to the end of your build.prop:

#simple speed supertweaks (optional description line)

profiler.force_disable_err_rpt=1

profiler.force_disable_ulog=1

logcat.live=disable

Restart and that's it! in keeping with the traditional theme of Nexusque simplicity. Good day and let me know how it goes! :lol:

I did some more digging and apparently the first two entries don't do anything (

). Disabling logcat is still valid though. I've since added these tweaks and haven't really seen that much of a difference.
