How do you get into build props?
I know there is a build.prop editor in ROM toolbox but if you use root browser or es file Explorer in root mode then just go to /system and open build.prop as a text file

I went into system/build props/long press text edit would have let me write. I didn't have a nanoid of this build so didn't try it. Do you think that would have worked?I know there is a build.prop editor in ROM toolbox but if you use root browser or es file Explorer in root mode then just go to /system and open build.prop as a text file

Hello good people!!
I've been using this rom for quite some time even though I'm a gsm user on T-mobile. (I've unlocked the gsm capabilities). While I was on T-mobile, before using this phone, I owned a nexus 4, but it never had the battery life I was looking for so I sold it and bought a razr HD. Anyways.. to cut to the chase I was missing the raw speed and power of the Nexus 4 so I've disabled logging on my razr to make it go blazing fast ))))))))))) since the razr was bogged down by having to log and run programs at the same time with just 2 cores. Just add these 3 lines to the end of your build.prop:
#simple speed supertweaks (optional description line)
profiler.force_disable_err_rpt=1
profiler.force_disable_ulog=1
logcat.live=disable
Restart and that's it! in keeping with the traditional theme of Nexusque simplicity. Good day and let me know how it goes! :
The Tonner is going to run this up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes. Thanks!

+1 but I'll see after some time, usually reboots speed things up a bit.

Searched around and someone from another forum put this as part of a large list of tweaks. Said in passing that it "may break some apps". Might give it a try, though.

Gots me a problem here...
I am getting a device full error message whenever I install anything, but the numbers aren't adding up. There's about 5 or 6 GB in the Settings->Storage menu->Internal Storage, and only about 2GB for apps, and there really isn't *that many* apps installed.
I had a look using the file explorer, and noticed on internal storage there is an Android folder that is taking up 7.2GB of space. I'm curious, since this isn't a root explorer, should that folder even exist? The majority of the space taken up in there is from the Data folder, and a lot of those apps I don't even have installed. I'm familiar with the normal layout, but I'm thinking that Android folder doesn't belong there...
Any thoughts?
I also noticed there was a half dozen External USB (unmounted) drives when you go to the internal storage settings view... Seems weird, but I doubt it's hurting anything.

Haven't got around to thank anyone yet. Thanks adamjmtz for the awesome ROM! It has been my DD for a while now. Thank you Jp1044 for continuing development on this ROM. and Thanks Robertle85 for the build.prop edit. like said before.. i just restarted and it does seem snappier.. but that usually comes with a fresh reboot. ecstatic to see where this ROM goes. (being i'm still LOCKED!!) :

I don't understand what this Xposed installer thing is supposed to do. What are the modules? What do they do. The XDA link didn't explain very much.

I think that article sums it up nicely.
