Thanks for the tip. It leaves me with EDGE connectivity only. I posted this link on the XDA site for this ROM but could not get it working properly.

Adam just wanted to swing by and let you and all the Nexesque users know about this.

OPTIONAL ADDON STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON CUSTOMIZING ROM provided from user hallokitty @xda. Don't let the name fool you, this is an awesome tool.

The framework is an apk easily installed:

(From this thread:

)

GravityBox is here:

- there's a link to the APK, currently 2.6.9

Just download them both, install the first framework APK first.. then open it. Choose the "Framework" option at the top. Press "Install/Update". It will need a reboot after.

Then install the GravityBox APK.

In your app drawer, go into "Xposed Installer", you'll be back at the same screen as before, press on "Modules", and check "GravityBox". I think it may even need a reboot again, I don't remember.

From there, just go into GravityBox in your app drawer, it has a few good tweaks - the main reason I got this one is because I can make the Navigation Bar smaller so I have more screen space, you can show the menu key, etc. I've also been able to customize the status bar with centering the clock and enabling the battery percentage on it with only numbers.

As for the DPI, I just went with this simple app in the market:

I'm currently running at 240 and I've had no market issues, but some apps will think you're on a tablet, so it can look odd. I had no problem with any of the settings I tried so far, so I can't report any real issues with that. I didn't try any crazy values though, I say between 200-300 is probably going to work fine.

Yeah, this is pretty cool. I've been using it for a little while now and it's surprising how well it works and how many options it has. I'm including the xposed installer in the next version of the rom, so it's easier to get.

Great news Adam can't wait for the latest version , thanks to the contributions of the forum members we are able to further assist in making this ROM even more epic :-)

+1

just flashed Nexesque 3.5 with SS 3.12 for XT926 maxx

by far the best ROM for performance.

encountered error when opening the supplied browser, though...

browser wont open and there's error msg " unfortunately com.goggle.process.gapps has stopped " something like that...

wonder what i did wrong ? any suggestions ?

currently replaced the browser with dolphin and no more error msg appear.

Thanks to Adam and to all that helped to put this Rom together. The razr hd is as fast or faster than my wives S3 which has a better graphics processor. But you can try to perform a full format and re flash if you really want to use the stock browser.

Personally I use dolphin browser myself, noticed its a bit faster than others I've tried so I wouldn't worry about it. Stick to what you like :D

I've been able to confirm that this paid theme is recommended if you have the free lockscreen app Go Locker. Lots of options and very well made. Link to theme:

I like to save on the SD card with the MotoX camera. However, I accidentally used the non-MotoX camera to take a picture and it saved to my internal card. I deleted the pictures but now swiping to the gallery from the MotoX camera results in no picture being displayed because it's looking for pics in the internal card location.  It still saves to the external but doesn't know to look there...

How do I fix this? I tried to clear data on both camera and gallery.

I wouldnt think so right now. Your nexesque has proved to be the best rom currently, and we have yet seen the performance of that to-be-launched 4.4. Theres no telling if its gonna be as snappy, flexible, and friendly as the nexesque :)
keep up the spirit mate, you saved a lot of people from the misery of bloated stock already...
cheers and long live nexesque!!!

Got it re: losing root. Found answer on page 2. Uninstall SU and it asks to install new binary.

Oh damn, I knew this was going to be hard. Everything will be OK. The RAZR HD is going to a farm to play with all the other droids. They will all have unlocked bootloaders and will be free range fed on moto released source code.

In all seriousness, though, I bought a nexus 5 and am switching to t-mobile at the end of the month. Until then, I am working on one last release that will hopefully hold everyone over until the release of 4.4. I am more than willing to hand the reins over to someone worthy. It's been really fun messing with this rom and, seriously, all I've really done is add/remove apps and try to make things look nicer. Anyone can do it!
