I can go from 4.2.2 CM10.1 to the stock 4.1.2 rom works fine that is on kernel 3.0.31. But when i do a clean install Nexesque_RazrHD v3.2 i get this error. what kernel should i be on to install Nexesque? and if mounting system  how do you find  the rom you want to install? Like in posted # 838

Nexesque doesn't include a kernel like the stock rom.use the kernel on the first post of the aviator rom thread.

You need to flash the stock kernel in between wiping 4.2.2 and installing the stock rom.

Where do I find the stock kernel to flash? Are they actually flashed separately?

It's in either the first or second post of the aviator rom thread. Yes you need to flash it prior to flashing nexesque but after you initially wipe.

I do really like the look of this Rom.
Thank you for your input I'm thinking of flashing Aviator as well and see which one has the best battery of the 3.

By any chance have you compared battery usage between those as well?

Haha forgot about aviator. That's a sick ROM too. He has tweaks for battery life. Battery is great.

I have tested the battery life with different razr hd Roms, this is the best. I even tested with the utorrent app, which is known to be a blood thirsty battery life sucker, not on this rom

Is this ok to use with the latest OTA or does the system base need to be updated?

Why is this thing not flashing? TWRP 2.5.0.0 /unlocked. advance wipe then i install (XT926 AviatorHD 4.1.2 boot.img) then I install rom. Every time! Failed. error executing updater binary in zip. stops at updating partition details...If it a kernel thing i can run stock 4.1.2 on 3.0.31 Kernel, then i tryed to install nexesque. Fail!  why would it not then install ?

Same with me. I think we HAVE to flash with safe strap and not twrp. Am I correct?

Did you guys mount system before flashing? If you did. Maybe bad download cuz I flashed this ROM multiple times through TWRP

How do you mount a rom?

system version 9.16.6  4.1.2  kernel version 3.0.31-ge491d6d.  I dont get it. Iv tryed other 4.1.2 roms same thing, errors out. 4.2.2 roms take not 4.1.2 anymore. What happen? has anyone went back to this from a CM10.1 rom?

 

update:  Did get a jake day rom to work!
