I got a used Razor Maxx HD Friday. Rooted and unlocked it. Tried a few different ROM This being one of them. I love this ROM and  I have made this my daily driver and have been running it for 2 days one of which was a ten hour workday which gave me chance to really test it out. I need a ROM with everything working and this seems to be the best. Is this ROM still being supported as I have noticed not much activity for last couple of weeks.  I hope it is. Just wanted to thank you for a smooth stable Rom for my new unlocked toy.  Coming from a Bionic  running SS and flying Jelly

Nex is a nice rom have you ever tried flashing a rom in recovery? Isnt SS a bit laggy it was for me.

You misunderstood me. lol I am using TWRP and I did put this ROM on in recovery. I was talking about SS being all that is available for Bionic locked boot loader. Also been running Cromi X for few months on my unlocked tf700 Infinity tab using TWRP Yes this is a very nice ROM

Ok got ya I switch between all the roms I have tried a couple of the 4.2.2 based roms nice but not 100% yet. When I first git this phone I didnt like way ti much lag but once it got unlocked seemed to make a big difference just getting off safe strap seemed to do the trick.

Glad you like it! I am still supporting it, but I only update for new system versions (9.16.9 doesn't count), and to fix bugs. I'll probably keep updating until the aosp ROMs get their kinks worked out. Occasionally people suggest things that I include in future updates, but I'm picky.

I'm just glad to have a ROM with some aosp in it a bit. With a fully functional camera and camcorder. ^-^

Is anyone else having trouble sending MMS? I flashed this rom yesterday afternoon and since tried to send an MMS with both the stock app and Go SMS, neither of which worked. Any thoughts?

I can only imagine it would be a bad flash because this is the first time this has ever come up. Make sure you're coming from the 4.1.2 kernel (if not there's a separate flash for that) then reflash the rom.

I reinstalled the stock moto/vzw text message app from the stock rom. I had some mms issues too. The stock moto app isn't as pretty, but it works flawlessly. I flip between the two by freezing in TiBU.

I have had my Maxx HD for a week now and been using this ROM for 6 days. Question? Has any one experienced a brief screen flicker issue on this ROM ? Or could this be a defect in my phone? I have not been running stock or any other ROM long enough to know if it is on stock or other Roms

Great ROM, clean and fast!  Does anyone know how to capture a screenshot on the Maxx HD?  I tried power and volume down, but that just rebooted the phone.

Hold power and vol down at the same time for 2 seconds

Weird, that's what I tried before, but this time it worked.  You must be magic.  Thanks.

The reason I asked: I wanted to point out that hyperlinks in received SMS/MMS are especially difficult to see.  They are almost the same blue as the background bubbles.  Can this be changed?

Have I lost my mind, or does this ROM not have the media share option? I used to use it on the stock ROM to stream stuff to my PS3, but I'm not seeing it on this one. It has been awhile since I've used it, so maybe I'm just not seeing it?

Who cares what tomorrow will bring, as long as it brings candy.

If I'm running a 4.2.2 ROM using bytecodes kernel can I flash this with no problem or would I need to revert back to stock kernel? I pretty much know the answer but what I'm really wondering is will I have to use rsd lite to flash the stock kernel? I have a stock backup but I can't get it to boot

You have to flash a stock kernel.that being said you can flash only the kernel from your backup or just use the zip in the op of the aviator rom thread.no need to rsd.

So first time running a from on a n android since my Droid x so I'm a little rusty.

Love the rom so much better then the stock is. But I had a couple issues I hope to find answers to. First, there are certain apps that refuse To download from the app store for whatever reason keeps telling me it can't reach the server. Second I can't get mobile hotspot to work at all. I downloaded a third party app but it refuses to broadcast even though it says it is. Is there anything I'm missing? I followed the instructions to a t.

When you say you have to come from the 4.1.2 kernel is that the stock kernel after the ota update to 4.1.2?

Thanks for any insight!
