hey i came back to this rom from eclipse hd and eclipse had his own kernel that flashed with the rom. i cant find a stock kernel to flash anyone have it? its just a flashable zip right? im unlocked on twrp 2.5

did i brick?
 
i backed up my rom in TWRP, wiped wiped wiped, and tried to install the new nexusque. it gave me a failed message so i tried again and it failed again. i figured i'd go back to my saved rom and re-download nexusque but when i tried to restore i got error messages. finally in mounting frustration i accidentally rebooted with no OS loaded and now after powering on i get the "warning unlocked bootloader"  screen and immediately go to black. can't get into twrp. tried the razr hd utility 1.2 but it wont pick up that a device is connected.
am i fubar?

You could rsd back to stock. Or I believe the latest util from matt can fastbboot you back.

In fastboot with Matt's util or rsd lite you don't need it.

So you've tried holding power+vol up+vol down to get into recovery and it didn't work?

i've tried the usual stuff... chatting with bladerunner now but nothing seems to help. rsd lite won't recognize the phone as being connected.  tried reinstalling drivers multiple times, different cables, different pc's. motorola mobility driver installation seems to work but pc popup says installation not successful. matt's utility doesn't find the phone either. i think the hangup is for some reason the phone isn't communicating with the pc

Is anyone having a problem with Wifi on the latest version? wifi wont turn on for me. Is it a bad flash? other than that this rom is running great for me.

Did you come from the same rom?
Did you mount system before you flashed?
No-wifi problems seem to come from moving to a rom with a different base/kernel. And this one doesn't have a kernel included. So you have to already be on the same base.
Not sure if you can just flash the right base after the fact and recover wifi.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

People have this problem when coming from the 4.1.1 kernel. You need the 4.1.2 kernel.

This is What I've been doing, and it seems to works. I restore back ups first. I have a 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 back ups.

I just restore to what version ROM I want to install (if not on it already) then flash away. Seems to work so far.

In the new Google hangouts app... Can anybody get a video chat to work? I go to start a video chat and the app just closes and takes me right back to the homescreen. Anybody else have this issue?

I haven't tried this yet, but sometimes weird things happen when apps are converted to system apps. I'd recommend deleting the app using root explorer or es file explorer and re downloading it from the market.
