So Chrome doesn't sync my bookmarks now. Is that something about this ROM or is it unrelated? I know people were talking about the AOSP browser needing adjustments but I didn't know if that pertained to Chrome as well.

Sorry figured it out. Apparently I did something while on my computer to Chrome. Probably shouldn't be changing stuff while I'm sick!

I'll fix it if and when I do update the rom with anything else. In the meantime, the same AOSP browser bookmark fix might work for chrome too.

I am runnign RAZR HD MAXX with unlocked bootloader and twrp. I am running Carbon AOSP ROM. I am trying to get back to stock rooted and then flash Nexesque. I made a stock rooted backup back in the safestrap days. I tried to mount system and restore it via TWRP but i get a black screen after the first unlocked bootloader splash screen.

Am i doing something wrong? I want to get back to a stock base with an AOSP look and this looks AWESOME! If there is an easier way to do this I am open to that as well.

EDIT: Nevermind. Just flashed the boot.img.zip and install Nexesque.

I really want this too, but I can't get it to work with 4.1.  I've tried multiple times and it always gets force closes.

Are you going to be updating this with dh's new base (see Hash's goo account)?

I believe that's the version that this rom is currently running! Check the build number in "about phone" they match.

Ah I thought that was the new mr4 base being discussed on xda sorry. Is your base 9.16.6 or 9.16.9 BTW? Wasn't sure op had been updated.

Oh, I see there is a new 9.16.9 version out. I'll take a peek at it and see what it brings to the table.

I'm on the 9.16.9 DST currently and I know it feels much snappier than 9.16.6 did. Its possible it's placebo, but I'm not so sure, interface lag is almost non existent now while it was a little noticeable before. It could also just be mhous's tweaks

So I absolutely love this ROM. I've been running this since it was first released and i can't say thank you enough for the hard work. I've run into an issue where I keep getting insufficient storage error in play store. I've uninstalled apps, cleaned caches, cleaned up both memory cards, but it still seems to happen. I've looked through Google and other forums but can't seem to find an answer... has anybody else dealt with this who may have a solution? Thank you in advance.

I had that problem when I was using safe strap and I think it was because I only used 1 GB on the ROM slot and I really did fill it up. I unlocked boot loader and flashed no issues now

Thank you for the response .I reflashed the Rom after wiping everything twice. Kept some of the user apps I converted to system apps as user apps instead...and so far so good. It seemed like it only happened when updating some apps in the play store but not all of them, it didn't matter if I uninstalled system apps or user apps, it still told me insufficient storage... but we'll see how it goes this time. I was concerned because I reflashed twice clean and it was still happening. Maybe a coincidence or not all data was wiped completely. I know Safestrap could cause this if the partition created was too small but I'm now on TWRP.

Yea I deleted all my old recovery folders or moved them to external sd. I think the final reflash I did may have done the trick...knock on wood, but im wondering if it was a titanium backup issue even though I never restore app data, maybe that caused some bogus nonsense I'm not sure. I did read that others were having this problem on multiple different ROMs so I'm not thinking it's ROM related at all. I read the data folder sometimes holds extra garbage in it but I scanned through it and it's all things I use. Maybe TWRP didn't fully wipe or something before but now I'm up and running great. I also add the 4 button nav bar mod for the menu button which has worked flawlessly with this. Never had any issue before so I don't think that was it. I have the mod installed again and the Nexesque is smooth as butta. Thanks for the help guys :-)

3.1 is running amazingly! However I just tried setting up Face Unlock and it FCs whenever I try to set it up. Not a big deal, but I thought you'd like to know.

Man, I'm really interested In this rom but it hangs up and then fails flashing. I'm using TWRP v2.5. Any ideas? Coming from stock 4.1.2 with stock kernel.

Edit: Nevermind. Read earlier in post. Derp.

Try downloading the rom and flashing again, that's what I just had to do.

I just rebooted with the rom successfully installed. Like the previous posts made, just had to manually mount system and boom. So far I love the mms "theme" If you will and by far the best wallpapers of any rom I've ever had. Really liking this.

I always find myself coming back to this rom. It's fast, stable, perfectly debloated and gets great battery life. I think it's the best rom for the HD right now.
