DROID NEXESQUE FOR RAZR HD (Updated April 28, 2013)
So, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a real developer. That being said, I noticed that there was sort of a lack of ROMs for this device (when compared to my old OG razr), so I started to mess around a bit on my own. I like the stock AOSP/Nexus look, so that’s where I am trying to take this rom.
DISCLAIMER: I built this rom for my own personal use and I’m posting it on here for you to try. Blah blah blah, if you brick your device it’s your own damn fault.
IF YOU WANT TO USE ANYTHING OR REPOST ANYTHING FROM THIS ROM, PLEASE ASK FIRST AND CREDIT THOSE I HAVE CREDITED FOR THEIR HARD WORK.
Special thanks:
Droidrazr.com – thanks for hosting this awesome community where I can waste valuable time.
vtwinbmx- deodexed and zipaligned earlier versions of this rom.
Mattlgroff- the razr utility is priceless.
Djrbliss - unlocking the bootloader, rooting everything, etc etc etc
Gnufabio- (whoever you are) for the jb keyboard and alarm clock.
Dhacker – I know you work a ton on the razr.
Hashcode – for safestrap… couldn’t do anything without it.
Halo13 - Help with AOSP lockscreen.
Mhous33 - deodexed/zipaligned 9.16.6 (4.1.2) base
Warfexion & Schoat333 - I read their threads on xda and rootzwiki to figure out how to theme the mms.apk
Everyone else who provides feedback on this site and all others. It’s very helpful when you’re trying to get things to work.
ROM Features:
-Deodexed/zipaligned 4.1.2 base (9.16.6) by Mhous33

I followed the instructions at XDA and it added the option in my google account sync settings. However, every time I sync the browser bookmarks it fails saying "
Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."
i tried deleting the google account and re-adding as well as clearing cache. Nothing helps.

Anyone think the 4.2 AOSP browser would work on 3.1?

So Chrome doesn't sync my bookmarks now. Is that something about this ROM or is it unrelated? I know people were talking about the AOSP browser needing adjustments but I didn't know if that pertained to Chrome as well.
Sorry figured it out. Apparently I did something while on my computer to Chrome. Probably shouldn't be changing stuff while I'm sick!

Are you going to be updating this with dh's new base (see Hash's goo account)?

I believe that's the version that this rom is currently running! Check the build number in "about phone" they match.
