To adam:

Is it possible for you to post the 1% battery mod here by itself??

Thanks!!

I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know how to make my own flashable zips.  You can, however, copy and paste the battery icons from system/app/systemUI.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi (should be like 101 icons) and also copy and paste the .xml file from system/app/systemUI.apk/res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml

you can use the mod on here but some things will change like some icons and things, someone tried my theme for RageHD and it worked so. just if you run into any problems reflash this rom without wiping

Right, I just themed framework-res, so as long as it's from the same 9.16.6 base the only thing lost will be some theming from this rom.

Wondering about this myself. Since the base went from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 I assume there could be some issues dirty flashing. I'm too lazy to back up and try it to see what happens though.

Woo! Great to see a new version up. Just a few questions before I flash. I'm currently on v2.3. Can I just flash this straight from 2.3 or do I have to take any OTA updates beforehand? I just want to make sure the update process goes smoothly.

Yes, I'm fairly certain you need to have 4.1.2 on your stock side for safestrap, or you're coming from 4.1.2 on twrp because you need the 4.1.2 kernel for the rom to work.

What is the process for putting car mode back on this rom? Other than that v3 is pretty much prefect.

Find the stock/deodexed 9.16.6 base posted in the ROMs section. Two ways of going about this... 1. put all apps from system/app related to car dock back into system/app of this rom before flashing it or 2. drag and drop them into system/app on your phone and set permissions to r-w-r-r

Battery life and speed have been generally great for me on this rom, so I haven't messed with them at all. I have, however, removed tons of bloatware which often run background processes and this removal should be beneficial to both battery and speed.

I am running the 4.1.2 kernel already. I might just backup v2.5, wipe system, cache and dalvik then flash v3 and see what happens.

Tried everything you twice still no go, realized I was still on 4.1.1 on my stock ROM so I went went the process flack the stock 4.1.2 stock ROM and the 4.1.2 bootimg rebooted the phone to make sure everything worked it did, so I went back and tried to flash v3.0 try with the same results as before twice can't figure why it won't go past the boot animation

Ok finally figure out what i was doing wrong, after flashing the rom, i forgot to go back and mount the system before i flashed the 4.1.2 bootimg, on another note is anyone working on the getting the small navigation bar back, it's my favorite by far, went ahead and flashed to see if it would work and it didn't

Just want to say how awesome this rom is. Came from vitreous and this had been a lot smoother.

I like the boot animation. Nice wallpapers included too.

I'm glad to see the update to the 4.1.2 base, I think it makes things smoother.

Just wanted to give some notes on v3.  I've been running custom roms on OG DROID and a DX since both were released.  I'm soooo glad to have an unlocked moto phone with the RAZR HD.

First off, I LOVE this ROM.  Props to adamjmtz for his work and the quick update to the 4.1.2 version.

The theme and AOSP/NEXUS style are perfect.  Battery life is top notch and most of the bloat I would normally remove from the stock 4.1.2 OS is already taken care of.  Things run buttery smooth with either the regular launcher or Apex.  I have had no crashes or hang-ups as of yet.

Car dock mode is something I use every single day.  At first I would have liked to see the stock moto build in the rom.  However it forced me to try out a 3rd party app called Car Home Ultra, which at the end of the day is a much better solution!

I also used Smartactions before I found the wonderful 3rd party Tasker.  Although Smartactions app is in this ROM I have it disabled and run Tasker instead.  Either are fine, but I get consistency and better options with Tasker.

I had to add the google calendar app as I use it for my work/exchange account and for me and my wife's google calendars.  The stock calendar widget looks almost identical to the moto version except for stock having a translucent blue background header and moto a translucent charcoal grey.  (1st world problems, I know)

The messaging app is solid and looks great.  I do miss the group messages as MMS option that the moto app had, but I can live without.

The updated desk clock is sooo much better.  Excellent work!

I'm really digging the wallpapers included.  Several of which I already had been using from finding on random sites.  Great style.

Speaking of style, the AOSP lockscreen is killer.  I'd like to see it have the clock image and overall style like you see in this image from widgetlocker, but that's nitpicking for personal preference.  In that WL setup the toggle for silent mode is set to the swipe dial (name?).

Screenshot_2013-04-16-11-58-21.jpg

Also on the lock screen I see that the clock in the top bar is hidden in the OP shots.  Is this a setting somewhere I can toggle or just not in the v3 rom?

Anyway, this ROM is fantastic and I appreciate the work that went into it.

Just an FYI - I was running v2.5 of this rom with the 4.1.2 kernel and decided to back up, wipe system, cache & dalvik then flash v3.0. So far I have seen no issues and everything is running great. Kudos to the OP on a fantastic rom, my favorite I've flashed since getting this phone last November.

So far I'm loving this rom. Only issue I'm having so far is I'm unable to send pictures the messaging app. Is there a setting or workaround in missing?

Reposting this from elsewhere;

"Okay so with the most recent update Verizon made the switch from sending text messages over their 1x network and moved them to their LTE (and possibly 3g) network, hence the reason they are sending so much faster. Today I was in a classroom that is underground and has terrible reception and noticed that I was getting delivery reports again but that my texts were sending slower, like they used to. I dug around in the phones programing menu and found a new option call "MO SMS over IMS" and it was enabled. Disabling it switches your texts back onto the old 1x network. So if you choose to make the switch, your delivery reports will come back but sending will go back to being a little slower. To get to this menu open up your dialer and type in ##7764726. Next hit send and when prompted with a password type in 000000 and hit verify. Scroll down to SMS/MMS settings and select it. Next scroll to the bottom, select "MO SMS over IMS", and disable it. Now your good delivery reports back!"

This fixed all my text and MMS issues.
