Is there a way to have a working hotspot on v3.0? Stock vzw isn't present and for some reason tibu won't restore it, and Wi-Fi tether root doesn't work either

Yup. I can't get it to work. It actually says "error" under " mobile hotspot"

Maybe a stupid question, but did you reboot after changing the line in sq? If so, go back into the app and make sure the change stuck.

I have been using the wifi tether app from the market, works fine after using the hack and changing the settings in the app.

Not a stupid question. I've tried everything, and I haven't debloated at all so I don't think its because anything is missing, but just out of curiosity, what apps does the hotspot require to run?

Just wiped as you stated, three times for good measure, re-flashed ROM, no dice..  Still no wifi

You didn't flash the 4.1.2 boot.img. That should fix it.

) and it worked perfectly for me. Make sure you reboot afterwards, it's critical.

If you cant get the built in hotspot to work, try wifi tether from the market. there is a picture floating around of the settings you need to change, PM me if you decide to go that route.

If I want to have no nav bar and use LMT full-time with this ROM can I use a flashable .zip mod made for a different ROM (Rage1.0)? Or do I have to go in and edit the framework (I think that's what's modified) to make it work for each individual ROM?

no that will break the framework of this rom

Welp, figured I'd throw caution to the wind, and it's working? Haha. I'm not going to pretend like I know why it is because I used your mod zooyork and I figure you'd know what would work. Am I missing something? How would I know that something was broken?

you can use the mod on here but some things will change like some icons and things, someone tried my theme for RageHD and it worked so. just if you run into any problems reflash this rom without wiping

Okay cool. Thanks for the .zip and I'll see if anything get's wonky. I'm using Tersus for icons so maybe that's why I don't see anything different.

Woo! Great to see a new version up. Just a few questions before I flash. I'm currently on v2.3. Can I just flash this straight from 2.3 or do I have to take any OTA updates beforehand? I just want to make sure the update process goes smoothly.

Wondering about this myself. Since the base went from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 I assume there could be some issues dirty flashing. I'm too lazy to back up and try it to see what happens though. :

What is the process for putting car mode back on this rom? Other than that v3 is pretty much prefect.
