Let me know if you have problems. I edited the framework-res and systemui correctly, but this is the first time I've tried doing a flashable zip.

I made a flashable zip of the mod that makes the navbar smaller, if anyone wants to try it out. I made it the same height as the status bar for the sake of symmetry. Let me know if it doesn't work, I'm new at this. To go back to the way things were before, reflash the ROM. I believe this only looks good if you're using Nova Launcher or something similar, or else you'll still see a black area where the rest of the bar used to be when you're on your home screen..

Awesome! I'll post this to the OP for some more exposure!

OP has been updated with v2.5! It's another minor update, but I think I've finally removed all bloat that can be removed with no ill effects (fingers crossed). That being said, keep a copy of v2.4 on hand because I'll be away from home and won't be able to update for another week or more and I don't want to leave anyone stranded.

Have a great spring break! (*edit: for those of you who have the same spring break as me)

Glad I could contribute something. :)

Oh, any changes to systemui.apk or framework-res.apk in 2.5? If so, I should update that mod.

Hey I love the smaller navbar, I flashed your zip on top of 2.2. Only thing is I hate the new battery percent in the newer version of this Rom, and when I used your zip, it changed the battery to the one found in 2.4 :(

It's because the battery indicator is controlled by systemui.apk, and this mod is based on the systemui.apk of 2.4. If you can give me a link to 2.2 I can make you a 2.2 version in a few days (I'm going to be out of town for a few days). I like the 2.4 battery icon though! I think it looks classy.

I'll also update it for 2.5 when I get back in case there were any changes that this affects.

First I want to say I am loving this ROM. Switch back to droid from iPhone and not regreting it so far. Question, does anyone know how to remove the battery percentage from on top of the battery meter. I enabled the circle meter that displays in the left hand corner and I like that one much better. I want to keep the battery meter on the right corner as usual but remove the percentage that displays on top of it. Anyone knows how?

I've been using 2.2 for a week now and just updated to 2.5

It's been running great without any of the speed scripts! Good battery life as well. Thanks!

LOVE THIS ROM!!! It's been really smooth and has great battery life from my experience. I really like the messaging app and the theme, however, I have a few customers who send me a lot of group text messages. Is there a way to enable group messaging through this app, or would I need to try and install the stock sms app?

You'd have to reinstall the stock app to use group sms

2.5 Rom = GREAT!! I am running this with v1 of the moto script mod. Awesome battery life and great performance! I did try this with v3 of the script...blazing fast but losing battery about 15% an hour. haha.

Thanks for your hard work. Enjoy spring break!

I will be at work all week so have a drink for me!

I agree with silverstag! I have tried many of the popular roms and this seems to be the smoothest I have tried , no choppy transitions or ugly themes. Also adamjmtz has kept the best stock Motorola parts and done away with the unnecessary stuff. Thank you adamjmtz for compiling this Rom, you did a great job and I can't express my gratitude enough.

My only complaint for this rom is the 1 % percent battery mod that comes with it. I do not like knowing the exact percent of Battery, I tend to worry about it more with this mod ( ignorance is bliss). It's a personal preference and if someone could help me to remove this 1%. Percent mod I would appreciate it.

Things I would like to see in the future

- hold back to kill app (please , please , please!)
-SMS quick reply

Later later in the future
- 4.2 base with those sexy toggles that are included

I hope you keep updating this rom, thanks again adamjmtz and the android community.

Hello, guys!
I want to put Nexesque's SystemUI in my rom. What files is necessary? I tried SystemUI.apk (and the frameworks).
But, I've received inifinite bootanimation loading :)

Thanks! =]
