Alright here's a poll for you guys: do any of you use vzw backup assistant? I'm thinking about taking it out in the next update. Trying to debloat this thing as much as possible.

Oh and any features you guys would like to see? I'm open

I do not use it but i don't use any bloat apps :D

FlyingJelly wallpapers? I usually use wallpapers related to the ROM I'm running

I am adverse to vzn backup. Did I mention I liked the volume rocker skip mod? Can that be that be set up while keeping the reboot options in the .jar file? Everything else works smooth. Always of fan of debloating. Can't wait for the next release. Tremendous work done so far!

So then it looks like I'll be taking the vzw backup out then. Its constantly running in the background and its an extra step in setup. Anybody else ever get that annoying popup when your volume is getting "too loud"? Yeah, that's going too

Should work fine man. Just make sure you load up the JB kernel before booing the rom

Wallpapers? For sure! Volume rocker skip, I can attempt it. That might be a T3T3 thing though :D

hey guys...

sorry i have been away for a while...i was stuck at work for 3 days cause of the snow storm that hit CT like a ton of bricks and now im dealing with a family issue...

big thanks to JP for keeping up with the threads for me

I will be integrating the volume rocker skip into the next update and maybe theme the app icons to go with the slight theming we have (status bar, notification toggles and lock screen) and jayrod got a razr so we will be seeing some of his themes at some point (we are over working him so it may take some time lol) but we also took on a new themer name of Bamafan39, welcome him if you see him or on one of our threads :) , so between him and Jayrod they should be able to continue to amaze us with their sick themes!

Thanks for all your patience...YOU GUYS ROCK!!

I deleted Verizon backup and the volume notification myself def wouldn't miss it in a future build but other than that this rom has been amazing easily get 2 days off one charge even while listening to Pandora for hours

nowhere in the setup does it give the option to setup a google account. Under the email setup screen, it says "for gmail accounts, use the gmail app". immediately after setup finishes, opening gmail or play store FCs

how can I set up a google account if it crashes when I open gmail?

how can I set up a google account if it crashes when I open gmail?

Gmail set-up has several choices...
1. After flashing giving you the option to setup an existing account now or later...
2. GOTO Setting...Application... New Account. This option gives you another Gmail set up...
Now are you setting up your Gmail account on POP or Corp?...

Are you Stock?

Or is your error messages thru Duel Boot to ICS or JB?

here is every step verbatim from a fresh install:

-after initial boot, I"m greeted with "unfortunately, gmail has stopped". I close that prompt, and get to the welcome screen
-verizon welcome screen. I click "start the setup"
-welcome to the setup wizard, I click next
-I opt out of vzw contact syncing and click next
-"checking for email" : It tells me that I will set up gmail later in the wizard. I have no other accounts to add at this time, so I click "done with email"
-I skip media checking
-I opt out of all location consent tickboxes
-"congratulations, you've finished setting up your device"

any attempt to open gmail or the play store immediately FCs. opening location settings FCs. running the setup wizard again repeats the same steps from above, and then finishes and gives me another "gmail has stopped" message.

Okay questions:
1. Does Gmail & Gplay work in Stock?
2. Scanning your Post you've done your required process in Savestrap including fixing permissions..on the safe side of town
3. My guess, Stock has a conflict with Gplay & Gmail...
4. A Cleaned Stock ROM is a Key foundation before jumping into Duel Boot

Sound like a full dusting & Cleaning on the Stock side...definitely something is corrupted in data

You know the Drill on this process with Utilities...

IMO...you're choice my friend

Oh, just set up a New Gmail account with no FCs...
