It happened a few more times. It doesn't restart all the time. 80% of the time , the screen goes black and it's unresponsive for a minute and then it returns like it just rebooted. It mimics like it has lost sync? (i think)  Example my data is no longer blue but is white and the clock&weather content in my circles widget vanish and appear again. 

 

Other times I have to hard boot. 

 

It mostly happens while using bluetooth . And sometimes when I get a message on whatsapp while the bluetooth is ON. 

Have you tried UnInstalling Whatsapp to see if everything works better...Uninstall...Reboot...See if there is less Reboots...

 

Its very Possible you have Old Data from other sources conflicting with this ROM or Any ROM for that matter...

I haven't heard of any camera issues. Can you describe exactly what happens or post a screenshot?

I have never had any problems with my camera. Well, the menu will not stay closed. It scrolls out when you open camera. Blah though.

I have Moto Razr....I will cut you.

just flashed the quick settings removal and camera worked for a while.. now im getting this. running version 3.0, fresh install on slot one

But it works on other ROMs? Are restoring from a backup made with something like titanium backup? If this happens on all ROMs, I'd say its a hardware problem.

I am having trouble loading this ROM. During setup after I am asked for English Lang. The messenger fc and I can't get a signal to set it up. I just installed PAC rom so I know its not my phone. Can someone post a md5 for this ROM so I know it wasn't a bad DL ( but I DL twice and it checked the same mb5, but just trying to rule out a bad DL)

Edit: I loaded 2.11 and updated it from there. Works great now.

You gonna add extra governors in the future? Just wondering.....I have been running this ROM as my daily driver since it came out. Works great. The only problem is WiFi tether quit on 3.0. Reloaded from scratch with same results. Went back to 2.1.1 and it works. My son had same problem on bionic on 3.0. He just uses embedded WiFi. Thanks for all your hard work guys. Soon as I get off the furlough at work I will definitely contribute.

wifi tether for root users is what so many people use. It's easy. Here are the settings. Give it a try. Device Profile - Auto - Setup Method - Auto Channel - 11 Change LAN - 192.168.2.0/24 WiFi-driver reload - Checked Routing Fix - Checked

That is how I have it set up. I tried reinstall too but no luck. Tried titainium restore with same results. I'll keep trying. Thanks for help. Running 2.1.1 now and all good. I tried new slot...reload...etc. no luck. Problem usually between key pad and chair as old saying goes.

You can just use the thetering and mobile hotspot under settings, works like a charm! No need for any other app

I know it's probably a n00b question, but is the whole .zip file named flyingjelly_spyder_05252013_3.0 (1).zip? I've been trying to install, (coming from another slot: activate slot for install, wipe cache/dalvik/factory reset/system, attempt to install, but SS says 'can't open zip.' where do I go from here?

The " (1)" part probably means you downloaded it more than once.  Try deleting that part of the file name and flashing again; it might not like the space in there.

I pulled the (1) part out of the title and am still getting the error. and let me guess- the .zip should be more than 77 mb? if so, I might need to run the download again before tyring to install.

I would imaging going from 100% to 87% within an hour of internet use running this ROM is pretty good or could it be better.

Issue fixed. I didn't have the full .zip file downloaded (I really should check file sizes) so... installed, running, and looking pretty darn good so far.
