[The Persuader]

This is my daily driver...no issues what so ever. Noticed that google maps is missing, tried to down load but it won't install. Any solution? Don't need nav to often but when I do I do. Have another rom installed that includes google maps, so I can switch, but would like it in this one. Ross Sent via Tapatalk

Not sure Why it wouldn't be working or Not able to Flash MAPS...

 

Its Very possible you had a Corrupt D-load Flashing this ROM...

 

Any Interruptions when D-loading like Incoming Calls, Emails or Texts as an Example could interrupt parts of your D-load...

 

If your Flipping between 2 ROMs I would Wipe both Caches prior to switching to another ROM...I am sure your doing that now...

 

This is my Goto Daily Drive and I have a Full Circle with Performance with FlyingJelly...

Follow T3T3 post starting with 2.0...then 2.1 then flash the patch 2.1.1...

You're gon'na love this ROM...actually both CM 10.1 and flyingJelly...

I've tried it 2 or 3 times. Flash 2.1 full zip and let it boot all the way but it never gets past

Thanks for the reply. Don't recall that there were any interruptions when downloading...I'm very pleased with this rom...battery life is great...this is the only glitch for me so far... Sent via Tapatalk

Yeah the next update will fix all of the Google Apps issues with this ROM. I'm really sorry I haven't gotten around to updating this. I have been really busy with the Bionic, but now we got the update our of the way for that so this is next on the list

Why do some ROMs work fine with Googles and other ROMs don't... just curious...

Any one know why my bookmarks didn't save when I installed this ROM? I have them in Chrome but not in the stock browser. Other than that no problems. DSP works with Pandora, never found another ROM that does that.

It actually has to do with how the developer signs the apps in the ROM. Its quite complicated and honestly I'm still trying to figure out how to get the Google apps to work in perfect harmony.

I love everything else but the toggles.

Could you post the md5 checksums for the 2.1 full zip and 2.1.1 patch?  I always like to make sure my downloads are good before wasting time backing up and trying to flash a corrupted file.

 

I'm really looking forward to trying out this ROM.  It looks great and I'm quite encouraged by the reported successes from everyone else so far.

The Best App to D-load to Flash any ROM is Quick Boot to Safestrap to flash or Restore with other options as well...

No need for the checksums now (though it might be a nice addition to the first post).  I decided to install it last night and I'm up and running.

 

I had the same issue as at least one other person reported.  It wouldn't get past the "please wait" screen on boot, even after nearly an hour of waiting.  I deleted SS slot2 and reinstall on slot3 and it worked like a charm.
