Yes. It came up: would you like to pay 29.99 /month or whatever it is. After "Checking subscription status", which happened after i hit the checkbox to start tethering once in the app. But I think im just going to reinstall, because I think I did something to get rid of the stock Jelly bean favorites contacts widget, which i use all the time. So ill try that today. Thanks for the help.

Oh okay. Yes your entitlement check is set to one instead of zero. If you don't have Sq lite editor just re flash the Rom only. Wipe data and cache first for the hell of it. That should fix the Entitlement check

OK to solve your tethering problem, you restored MotorolaSettingsProvider which holds the hack for the tethering. Just do a dirty flash of the the ROM you should be good to go. If not, do a clean wipe and install the ROM. Then when you go to restore with titanium, make sure MotorolaSettingsProvider isn't checked.

yes it does but I cannot tell you how many times over the years I've seen people run into trouble by not wiping data and cache. It's even good to fix permissions after you flash.supposedly the flash does the whiping automatically but it doesn't do a very good job

I have noticed that when connected to a computer (I've tried 3 different ones now) the phone connects and disconnects every 15-30 seconds. Is there a setting that is messed up? i just did a clean install in Slot 1 last night. I deleted and recreated Slot 1, did all the wipes and reformat of the internal SD. It was doing this prior to any additional app downloads or setting being changed.

Also, I've looked, maybe not well enough, but is there a different 1%battery and toggle that can be downloaded and installed? I haven't been able to find anything. Thanks for the great Rom.

Cant say for sure on your problem but others sound like they may have similar ones.....since I hate the USB cable anyway to transfer files and such, I have been using AirDroid and it works great.

I agree... I don't like the usb cable, but when at computer at work, it's the only way I have to charge the phone.

Try a different cable. As far as battery mods you need to download the utility 2,0 then 2,1 and use the option to install stock notification bar get rid of toggles and return the battery and opener toggle to stock. Then install deodex .16 1% battery - see above. I and many people use power toggles in the play store to customize the exact ones I want.

Funny you mention the USB issue. Just noticed this this morning. It kept saying found device. Drove me nuts. I checked to make sure my cable was firmly pressed into the USB and it was.

On the battery side of town: Last charge: 1 day, 14 hours and some minutes = 3%. Had to charge at that point. Lets see other ROMS beat that. I am at 1.25 Ghz.

Shoot I just rememembered on post #489 I mentioned that downloads would fail unless the phone screen was off. I bet you that's it. Just close the screen and see if that solves the problem.

What I noticed is the Battery Life on 2.1 is Incredible...

CPU settings...
Governor is Hotplug...I/O is Deadline...Inter/Med to Heavy usage...Current Battery Stats...14 1/2 hours with 49% Battery Life still remaining...

OK so we are petty sure you guys are having the same issue as us with the USB cable thing... We know the culprit and are trying to figure out a fix. Unfortunately it's not the rom that's the issue so we have to go through our channels to find a fix... Kinda wish it was something me or JP did so maybe we could fix it on our own, but sadly that's not the case... We will keep you posted and thanks for all your input :-)

Great ROM. But I'm having an issue with signal loss. Where I would normally have full signal with the stock ROM, I have no signal with FJ. Is there something I need to tweak? Thanks for any help. FYI, running on .16 if that help. Any other info needed?

Did you start from scratch with a new rom slot or did you flash over an existing rom?

I am trying to install this ROM and I am not having any luck. I keep getting an error that says "security test failure. Validation of cryptographic module failed. Please restart."

I have wiped everything... A lot... I tried the newest and previous versions.. All with the same message.

I created ROM slot 1, wiped everything and installed. I am running the newest ota and used the compatabilty utility to role the kernel back to the x-mas leak (to get my triple core ROM to work)

I had to use option 4 to get this to work. option 3 seems to take me back to the xmas leak/ and I would get the same error trying to flash a 16 rom. try option 4 in matts utility
