I think it's a bad download.

I had the same thing, I installed this after doing all the wipes and didn't get any data and got text messaging FC (I'm on the OTA). I installed a second time and for the same thing. I went over to BW and got the same thing (BW worked perfectly before). I had to go back to recovery Delete and recreate my slot-1. I redownloaded this and it booted up just fine with no problems.

I always full wipe x2 and yes OTA JB I'll try to download again.

Can this be installed on a Rom slot using safestrap, on a rooted Razr that's running ICS? Also, which file of the 3, should I DL?

You need to be running JB to install this.

Ok, Thanks Droid Master! Was not sure and I have not accepted the OTA JB upgrade yet so still on ICS. Not clear yet on what to do to get the update while being rooted.

Voodoo Root Keeper: Backup root, temp un-root, flash OTA. Go back to Voodoo and restore root. May need to open SU when you are done to get Voodoo to gain SU access. Mine had to set overnight but I got root back with out jumping through any utility hoops.

OP updated with Utility 2.1 patch which adds the original Flying Jelly 2.0 theme to the Utility! Enjoy (thanks to legendarydave for the suggestion!)

I've installed Voodoo Root Keeper, just haven't given it a try yet. Worried something will go wrong. Don't want to lose any apps or the hot-spot, especially, but I see that its the same fix as on ICS for that.
