You know what I was doing last night I showed you the Makefile in chat(compiling kernel modules). Have barely done any Android work in the last week, more Linux in general, installed Arch Linux with KDE this morning.

Thought i would share here what i posted in our fb group. "I'm going to be pretty busy until April first. Got 2 tests next week (government and art appreciation) that I'm currently studying for, then after those two are done i have a paper due on the first that i will then be working on. I will try and get as much done as i can in the mean time. I'm currently trying to figure out what exactly kills antutu scores with the tweaks. Since that is a slow process (I'm starting with no tweaks, run antutu, put a script in, do a new flash, run antutu again) i can do this while i study since it will be 15-20 minutes per test that's mostly waiting. Once i find out what's causing it i can let Brees know "

I am having trouble flashing. I used DroidUtility JB to acquire jelly bean status and for root access since I had problems with OTA (installation failure). I don't know if that would be a problem with trying to flash this ROM, some insight would be appreciated.

Well are you on the OTA or christmas leak kernel?

not the OTA. The JB on the droid utility, jellyBean firmware. I am thinking that might be the prob.

trying something right now. I just fastbooted back to ics OTA going to try and get that jellybean OTA again. the error was update installation failure

AH!...SUCCESS, Finally got the update. Now to root and flash, I'll get back later with thoughts on the ROM

Alright sounds good Take note this has NOT been updated to the OTA kernel yet, so use matts compatibility tool to get back on the Christmas one before flashing this

I have a droid razr maxx 4.1.2 kernel version 3.0.8 gbacb1cf with safestrap v3.11 and it keeps looping to the safestrap screen and will never actually load the rom. Could someone please tell me what I've done wrong.

This rom was built for the xmas leek kernel 98.72.08. The OTA version is still being tested.

On this site, go to the CDMA Razr/JB kernel forums. There are probably a dozen roms that are for either or both kernels. Just look for OTA in the OP.
