I've not been able to get the native hot spot to work properly on RLS13. On my N7 it hangs negotiating the IP and on my Win7 lap top, it connects but I don't get internet access.

I've got TrevE's WIFI tether set up and working. I followed this procedure

But you are a little biased ;).

Zeus is good, I had a problem where I was getting a reboot when I opened GNow in RLS13. Setting the CPU speed to 1620 fixed it. So just be aware if you get random reboots to look at the CPU speeds.

Thanks a again Scott for the great ROM. BTW I flashed Carbon today to check it out. It lasted 15 minutes.

I've not been able to get the native hot spot working properly. I'm using TrevE's.
I just (this morning) loaded the latest Synergy ROM to try it out and it's hot spot works fine.

It was only GNow that had an issue. I can run your version of Zues at 1720.
I've run Ziggy's at 1900 with no FC on Synergy.

Hey all,

Quick question, I replaced the screen on my wife's S3 that has been sitting in a drawer for some time. After rooting etc and installing this ROM, I got a notification of a software update from Verizon. It downloaded automatically then asked if I wanted to install. I clicked to defer.

Is this an OS update? I'm guessing I do not want to accept the update as it will most likely wipe my current ROM install and possibly root/bootloader unlock?  I have not had this phone on the network in over 5 months, just fyi as my wife got a new phone in December and this one has been sitting in a drawer, turned off with no sim ever since.

Thanks!!!

Probably is an OTA

Gotcha, I'm figuring it's OTA, but is it one I can take? How can I tell prior to install?
