mine did the same thing the other dayI realize that now.. didn't realise it was cm based... I had cm10.1 already on slot one and when I flashed this ROM on slot 3 my cm10.1 ROM would boot... was weird... thanks man haha

you should almost always wipe everything (especially on alpha builds), unless otherwise noted. The OP clearly states to wipe everything.
If you don't want to wipe data, at least wipe system, cache, and dalvik cache. Usually fine. But as a general rule don't report bugs unless you wipe data.
