I did what you said and my navigation still did not work. Is there anything else that I can do to get it to work. My gps navigation is very important to me, but I do like this rom very much.

Are you opening Navigation directly?
Try opening maps first, search for address, hit get directions, after directions load, then hit navigate...

And turn wifi on too....

Tried it both ways and it still did not work. Is it something else I can do?

Try rebooting into recovery. The wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and then fix permissions. Works for me any time my gps quits working.

Hi guys,
I have been loading the nightlies fairly frequently. With the 11/12 I lost MMS. With the 12/13 I dropped WiFi but got the MMS back. Is there a way to re-enable wifi again? As of right now it won't turn on. I have tried the fix permissions and wipe route. Thanks!

Open terminal emulator.
Type su. Enter
Type wifical.sh. Enter
Type exit. Enter
Type exit. Enter
Should now have wifi

Thank you for the quick response I went and did a clean install and it is working. I suppose only wiping Cache and Delvik is to blame.

I have noticed that CM toolbox app and the update shortcut in "about phone" points you to the wrong Gapps 212 vs the 301. Is there something I am missing there?

I dropped WiFi again after loading 6-14. I tried your instructions and everything executed but still no WiFi. Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Oh and sorry for the double post but is there an actual stable version of this? Sorry for the dumb questions, I'm quite new to all of this and while I like the ROM a lot (my favorite so far) it reboots a lot and the WiFi doesn't work along with MMS. Is there maybe an older but stable version?

Stay stock then. If you're not willing to be part of the development process, and you want everything to work perfectly out of the box, stop playing with all these "problem" filled pieces of software that others provide you for free, in their own spare time, which is just as valuable as yours. Part of the "problem" with development is the sense of entitlement expressed in your "mature & informative" post which says nothing beyond your sophomoric displeasure with being inconvenienced by finding something is less than you want it to be "right now."
So stay safe, pack up your toys, change your Huggies, and kindly remove all of the "broken" customized software from your precious device & go home.

Obviously, you may have missed parts of the process flashing this ROM...

This ROM is Solid as Steel...

Go back to the Original Post (OP) and try it again...going back to Stock is Nice but not a learning curve for you to learn...
If your looking for Perfect with Custom ROMs...it not happening...

Damn close tho...

I have RC5 running, and it's been really great so far.  Everything that I try works correctly.  One thing that has started to be a bit of an annoyance is how much the phone slows down (lags, short screen freezes) when I try to use other apps while installing or updating from the Play Store.  I have increased my minimum frequency up to 600 MHz, but the lag continues.  Are there different governor modules or schedulers that I can add that might help?  Do other people experience this same thing?  I thought I had read in a previous post that someone else experienced this, but I can't find it now.

Yeah this is a most unhelpful post. If you list your issues we can help but just coming here to be negative without any other info is doing anyone any good.

That's generally not a CPU issue, its a resource issue. Under menu> settings>developer options>background process limit, select at most 4 processes.
You can also adjust the minfree values using something like ROM toolbox as well.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I'll try that out and see how it holds up.
