Was hoping the data issues would have been fixed but I still don't have near the data signal that I get with stock. At home and at work I usually stay a constant two bars of lte on stock. On CM it's constantly bouncing between 0/1 bar of lte or going to 3g. This is also causing my phone to get quite hot and drain the battery.

I should note the stock ICS rom had the same issue. Moto seemed to fix it with their jelly bean update.

Did it work with any of the other Updates... if so, then it may be updated when their Point Person is gathering information...

Did you try a Hot Boot?...it refreshes the UI System...it might work

Cdma (Verizon). And the heat is all because of the signal issues. While on stock rom I'm usually around - 106 dbm. On cm10.1 rc4 my phone tells me - 112 or higher.

I'm still having to use a 3rd party sms/mms app for picture messages.

I believe the MMS issues can be fixed by using the APN app and restoring the APN settings. Here's a screenshot I took of the steps to take to restore MMS.

My Google Play Movies doesn't work with this ROM. I get the error message "couldn't fetch license". Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

Other than this, I'm loving this ROM.

Also, does anyone have a way to get rid of the crt screen off animation? I tried changing the animation speed to the fastest option in development settings but that just makes it awkwardly fast and stuttery

Turn off the animations, crt goes away

False. That doesn't work.

I fixed my mms by doing this I found it on a verizon wireless forum

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

On my Verizon Droid RAZR M running ICS 4.0.4 I was able to resolve this problem by adding a new APN by the name "Verizon". If you go to Settings/Mobile Networks/Access Point Names, the two APNs that are there by default are "Verizon CDMA HRPD" and "Verizon Internet". The stock ICS messaging app however is apparently hardcoded to look for an APN by the name "Verizon". So just go to Menu, tap New APN, and create a new APN by the name "Verizon" with the same settings as "Verizon Internet". Specifically, the only things you need to fill in are,

Name: Verizon
APN: VZWINTERNET
MMSC:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

Leave the remaining settings as they are. Then go to Menu and tap Save. This should enable the stock messaging app to send/receive mms.

P.S. You can test to make sure that the new APN you added actually works. For that, you go to Access Point Names in your Settings again, click on the radio button against the new APN, then enable Airplane mode, wait, disable Airplane mode - and make sure that the data connection comes back on, i.e. you see 3G/4G light up in the status bar. If you don't see it, something's not right. If you do, then it works and the messaging app will pick it up.

I turned off all 3 animation options in dev options and still have CRT. This is on CM10.1 rc4.

1. I think it's worth it. There's been lots of little fixes since March that would improve your phone.
2. I update without losing anything, but there's others who have problems with the updater. Just backup everything (titanium backup or other) and make a nandroid. Then give the updater a try.

Thanks very much, I upgraded and it seems to work better.

Is anyone having GPS fixing problems.  When I open Google Maps or GPS status app, sometimes the GPSs Icon shows up flashing and somtimes it doesn't.  Either way, the GPS never fixes.

Any suggestions.

Just tested GPS on the 06/01 build and all works fine. There was fix posted a few pages back. You might wanna try that if you can find it.

I tried all the solutions I could find in this forum.  Using the apps to replace gps.conf as well as replacing it with a stock file.  Still can't get a "lock".  I can get close w/ aGPS via WIFI, but nothing locks for navigation.  I get 0/0 sats in GPS Status.

My debug logs have the following error: call_android_location_callback() : No location in GNS/RMC/GGA

What is the latest stable nightly? I've gone to RC1 then RC4 w/ a lot of bugs most of which are mentioned here.

I would install RC4 after a full wipe. I did a clean install of RC4 and its the most stable I've been on so far. GPS locks immediately and battery life is great.
