RC3 is not working for me...I've tried everything...


Battery Life is Awesome read the Post...im a Heavy user...today was less than average and my Battery Life right now is 9 hours+ with 74% Batt remaining....

With Heavy usage roughly... 17 to 18%...so Yes its the Balzz

In Bubba's world everything is awesome and wonderful lol. Ok Bubba how does it compare to that other rom you run - the blur rom fllying jelly 3.0 which you say also has awesome battery life since you can give side by side comparisons. It is fj isn't it? Inquiring minds want to know because my  better half is interested in cm10.

Seriously, the. Battery Life on both are Awesome...their Damn close my friend...to close to chose...if there is different of 1 hour or more...close enough...
The Dev's working both ROMs are Awesome in my books...

Thank you Bubba . Now my wife wants to know why you run both roms. She is still on a.8 rom. What is so good about cm compared to blur?

I'm currently running a nightly from March.  I have never used the Updater.

 

Two questions:

1. Is it worth upgrading to RC4?  Phone works pretty well, occasional FC or restart
2. I can just use the updater w/o it deleting all of my apps/data/etc?

1. I think it's worth it. There's been lots of little fixes since March that would improve your phone.
2. I update without losing anything, but there's others who have problems with the updater. Just backup everything (titanium backup or other) and make a nandroid. Then give the updater a try.

Everyone talks to Bloatware with Blur ROMs...

I see No Major issues using either...one example;
FJ has Voicemail...just like Stock...
CM doesn't so I just create my own on my Dock....An Icon VM...
The only thing that I hear the most about with Blur is HDMI doesn't work and a hand full of Apps...
Honestly, No issues with either ROMs...personally when you start copying apk from one ROM to another thats where most of the issues starts and could create current ROM conflicts...

Here's the last CM10.1 Battery Life before changing over to FJ...I will let you know those readings using this phone the same Low to Moderate usage...

Is anyone else still having battery drain/charging issues? My phone battery status still jumps from 74% to 100%. It isnt fully charging for some reason, regardless of how many times i drain and calibrate the battery. Any ideas how to fix this?

Bubba, she updated and put the 5/30 nightly on her phone with the correct gapps It set up ok. But after wiping and fixing permissions and rebooting she just gets a blank screen. I tryied to get it to work for her but no luck. any thoughts?

IMO...Updates on CM is a Flashoholic issue...

As far as losing Data...2 ways...Wipe Factory or System or both...

CM 10.1 Updates

Is Cache wipes...maybe permission that's it...I do nor get any FCs

Was hoping the data issues would have been fixed but I still don't have near the data signal that I get with stock. At home and at work I usually stay a constant two bars of lte on stock. On CM it's constantly bouncing between 0/1 bar of lte or going to 3g. This is also causing my phone to get quite hot and drain the battery.

I should note the stock ICS rom had the same issue. Moto seemed to fix it with their jelly bean update.
