Save it for what? You haven't really addressed why you would want to put a custom rom on the stock side.

I would assume he wants the internal storage space for music movies, etc.

I was going to investigate and report my findings about speedtest between CMod and Stock, but then I'm in my friend's basement, and it basically isn't working in the first place. Sorry! I've never noticed any significant differences between the two, but signal generally is better on stock in total. It's just one of those things that happens when the source has yet to be released... I think it hasn't been yet, anyway. Still, a dev I was talking to said he was able to overclock their RAZR to 1400, and run it stable. Mine crashed immediately when I tried what they did. Everyone will have a different experience... But I love CMod more than stock, obviously.

Try CPU settings...

Stable and Responsive for me...No Blow ups at all..(Crashes)

So, im running stock deoxed in stock slot now. Not cause I am giving up on cm10.1, but again, safe strap 3.11 forgot to boot to slot 1 and went back to stock slot. It happened to me with earlier versions but now happened again. Am I the only one? Would installing cm10.1 in stock slot have prevented this...? I may never ever know.....

I would try reinstalling Safestrap now that you're on stock for a while. Maybe give your internal memory a full wipe. I've never had a problem with Safestrap booting to a different slot. As for installing CMod to stock side, it wouldn't have booted there, since it needs to be on slot-1. Regardless, it says every time you install a new CMod "Must be installed to slot-1 or it will not boot! This will be fixed soon." We just gotta wait for hash to have time to work more on Safestrap. Also... The ghetto in Minnesota? What is that, Minneapolis?

I keep setting minimum clock speed to 600MHz, and have used multiple programs to do it. But it always reverts to the default 300 MHz setting. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Your Rom and Kernel are 2 different things. A custom kernel has been modified in the same way a custom rom is modified from stock.

Well thar ya have it Memnoch...

I Understand the Custom ROM being Modified from Stock...But I thought when your Not Stock Driven and your Flashing New ROMs into Slots from Differents Dev's... I was thinking the Kernels would change to support the ROMs Like FJ & CM 10.1...

These are 2 differnet Kernels...So Custom Kernels have nothing to do with ROM's...I really dont know, sorry

I remember when CM 10.1 had to change the ROM Kernel to 3.0.8...b-cuz of to many issue from a prior Kernel...

None of the custom kernels have been stable for me. It seems that so many people are experiencing lag at 300MHz (including me), that the Devs would change the minimum to 600 in an update.

Anyone know how to update roaming capabilities, no keypad shows up when dailing *228. Also data was skipping on Netflix again last night even after clearing cache.

My Other ROM that I am on...the  Min Set on the CPU is 800...No lag at all...None!!!

Their is an App I am using on this ROM that overrides the Settings...I think it does...

The App is called Set CPU...

Currently the Max is 1200...the Min of 800...

Gov...Hotplug

Scheduler...Deadline

It is Possible the Built in CPU may override the setting but not to sure...

anybody has camera issues?

camera constantly freezes every time it needs to focus.

I've done wipes, permission fixes, clean/dirty installs, erasing DCIM folder - nothing helps.

What else can I do?

I keep having random crashes involving incoming calls or sometimes with heavy use, gps/music, etc... When this happens I can't boot back up, I have to reinstall CM 10.1, sometimes reinstall GApps and wipe caches. Is this related to anything like Juice Defender or CPU Sleeper?

Any apps that don't play well with this Rom?
