Here are my speed test results CM10
Wifi
DL 2667 UP 9496
4g
DL 9200 Up 1641
Stock
Wifi
DL 17019 Up 46567
4g
DL 11518 Up 42968
Anyone know if there are any scripts to speed up data or why CM 10 is so slow? Or is there a way to transfer a file from stock to cm10, like we had to with gps and apn?

Totally disagree with Speed Performance...
That Speed Tester probably slows down your Performance by testing your Performance for Speed...
Get a Good Cache Cleaner, Increase your Minimum CPU settings from 300 to 600 and try doing a Hot Boot to refresh your UI for being sluggish or Lags...

Get a Good Cache Cleaner, Increase your Minimum CPU settings from 300 to 600 and try doing a Hot Boot to refresh your UI for being sluggish or Lags...

I think the previous posters were referring to DATA speeds, not the phone's speed. Data is clearly much slower using CM10 vs Stock. It has been documented by several posters.

What space are you trying to save? Your know you can switch the default storage to external in Settings, right?

Yes I referring to data, I am very happy with how fast CM is except for the Data.

I've used Cache Cleaner NG going on 3+ years its Awesome...Mine will Clean every 12 hours...
Now, D-load Quick Boot...
It gives you 4 Options...Hot Boot is one of them...When things are Not Syncing right and you want to quickly Line up your Ducts or your UI System...Hot Boot will do it...the Short cut of going thru the process to get your Phone in Awesome Performance...

I was going to investigate and report my findings about speedtest between CMod and Stock, but then I'm in my friend's basement, and it basically isn't working in the first place. Sorry! I've never noticed any significant differences between the two, but signal generally is better on stock in total. It's just one of those things that happens when the source has yet to be released... I think it hasn't been yet, anyway. Still, a dev I was talking to said he was able to overclock their RAZR to 1400, and run it stable. Mine crashed immediately when I tried what they did. Everyone will have a different experience... But I love CMod more than stock, obviously.
