Yeah i went back into stock and my data is fantastic. it's a bummer, because if i'm gonna stream music on my commutes i have to go back into stock. oh well.
Unfortunately I may have to do the same thing. I initially didn't seem to have any of the signal or heat issues that other users here have mentioned. But in the latest RC2 update I flashed (I'm on the 5/14 build) my signal never goes above 3 bars, I lose 4G far more often than on stock, and streaming music (with pandora or new google music) or video causes my phone to heat up to uncomfortable levels. I tested streaming over wifi as well and had no heat issues so my assumption is it is due to the low signal.
I also had some lag issues but I think that was a product of running a live wallpaper, maybe too many apps installed, etc. I used set CPU to increase my minimum frequency and that seemed to clear up most of those issues. I really hope they get some of the kernel issues ironed out as I would LOVE to run this as my daily driver and be able to keep up on Google's updates. Enough so that my next phone may be a non-Verizon Nexus of some sorts.
