I am having the same problem with Bluetooth, it keep crashing on 5/14 I am going to D/L 5/15 and see if that helps. Everything I have tried does not get Bluetooth to work !!!

Do you guys have Bluetooth problems? After 1 reboot Bluetooth seems to break. Toggle it on and it toggles off right away. Flashing new cm fixes it, but then after 1 reboot it breaks again.

Go into Settings > Apps > All and look for Bluetooth Share. Either Clear Cache or force close and your bluetooth will come back. This has been a constant issue for me with all the versions.

Newbie here, but not to CM or rooting/custom roms.  I came here because of the BT problem.  In addition to clearing the cache or data or force close just to enable bluetooth, I have constant drops.  Here is the choronological events as best as I can remember them:

 

10.1 installed a couple weeks ago from nightlies

Bluetooth was working fine with my moto Sd10 headphones

Recently notified of RC2 which I downloaded and installed with zero fan fare "did it do anything??"

Within a day, unfortunately, I fixed a set of Samsung SDH600 (??) headphones and paired them.

They kept dropping.  I figured the battery was weak, etc.

I went home to exercise, grabbed the SD10 headphones...

Completely stuttering.  Unable to use at all.  Worthless.  Reboot repeatedly.

Was unable to turn Bluetooth on again (like described above)

I cleared that up and then removed one of the devices today guessing that perhaps >1 devices caused the problem.

SDH600 paired again and it still drops all the time.  Sometimes it lasts a few songs.  other times a few seconds.

 

I turned on a long screen timeout as some seemed to coincide with that.  No luck.

 

This weekend I'll give the SD10 another try after getting rid of the pairing with the SDH600.

 

Very frustrating.  I train 4 or 5 days a week and don't want to go to ear buds!  shudder the thought.

 

I understand that there is a core 4.2.2 problem with bluetooth, yet it was working pretty darn well with my HD10 before either the RC2 or the SDH600 pairing.

 

Anyone else seeing regular bluetooth drops?

Okay,

I am Not sure why this happens...but go into Safestrap and Wipe Both Caches...It should Restore your Bluetooth...Personally I thing its Stuff from the other Updates hanging in your System...Some of the suggestion are to Wipe Both Caches, Than Systems than Install the Gapp then Update...

 

They might be right...After an Update I will Always, I will Always do a Reboot in Safestrap to see if the Update is Solid in the Flash...

I'm new to CM and LOVE this ROM, everything is silky smooth and runs great except for two issues: when i plug it USB into my laptop, it doesn't show up as a device, and there's no indication on the phone's end besides charging. also, my data is pretty inconsistent as well. any help would be great!

I am a Reboot Monkey if something is not working properly...Most Devices will acknowlege any kind of Device using a USB Cable...Really not sure why but I would try that First and see what the Outcome is...

My MMS is out as well been using gmail to send pictures. Seems I can receive them fine tho.

I'm running RC2 and and I can't send picture messages (MMS). What's going on? Anybody else have this issue?

Boot into your stock slot, install APN backup & restore, use titanium backup to make it a system app. Run APN B&R, it will warn you about ICS crap. Hit menu and disable ICS check, then backup your APN settings. Boot back into your cm slot and follow the same directions, but restore your APN settings instead. Voila, mms works.

Thanks that totally worked, although it's a bit of a bummer that i can't get my razr to show up like any other device. any help on the data connectivity front would be amazing as well. i've tried recreating slots, and even did a fastboot and started from scratch, still very inconsistent data on this as well as the AOKP variant.
