If I looked any longer on CM 10.1... I would've gone into a ROM Comatose State No sheet...

:D glad to help. I'm stoked MMS is working on RC2. I like using the stock messaging app. So far so good on this build :D:d:D

This is great. For the first time my RAZR and my Nexus 7 are both running the same ROM. The most current CM no less. My next phone will be a Nexus hopefully and that should simplify things but in the mean time this works like a champ.
Thanks to all who have worked on this and provided solutions to problems along the way.

Thanks my friend...

Any Nexus can be unlocked.  It's a Google phone.  No need to crack or hack anything.  Just unlock if you want and have your way with the phone.  :)

Running RC2 since release, all good here.
At first I was getting a system process FC, but a second dirty flash straightened it out.

Please, I've posted twice regarding the overheating of the phone when streaming ANY video over the phone for around a half hour on it, Netflix, Hbo, YouTube..etc with little response as this poster is getting from the forums? The phone gets SO hot that it could potentially burn you or destroy your phone, I understand the risk is mine and really don't need to be reminded of that again, just looking for a solution or an idea as to what can be done, appears that the "gps" issue is an Important part of the rom but the overheating I would think would grab someone's attention, my thoughts were that this was a place that we could post potential problems and get input not necessarily by the devs but the community, after 2 attempts I finally received a response stating that sorry but this is your phone and as stated in the devs disclaimer your risk? No help or suggestions, as with this poster who posted yesterday and has yet to get any recognition for the post? Not trying to start a issue here just not sure of why certain issues are responded to and others that could FRY your phone are not addressed, not a newbie to flashing started with the droid with no locked boot, so I've tried everything in my knowledge base to find a cause for this, unless it doesn't use the gpu that's built in for graphics and putting a load on the omap 4430 processor? or the 2 memory chips that's located toward the top? Battery? Any suggestions would help? Look I'm running the rc-2 now but wont stream video or anything that's memory intensive, so I love this rom and have been using it for months but again if this is an issue it's one that should be openly discussed by the community? But when mentioned it's ignored, or when re-mentioned, told that it's your phone your risk. I'm sure that anyone can replicate this as I've had 6 razr friends do so? Again great rom, I'm using it but this is or potentially a serious problem. IMHO. Best Wishes to all.

Every smartphone I've ever had gets extremely hot when streaming anything for 30 mins straight or thethering stock ROM or custom. This is typical of these phones

On the stock ota for the Razr i can watch netflix for hours and it will get a little hot. I only watch one 28 min episode and the phone was so hot I rebooted, deleted slot one and went back to stock. So I can say with my phone that CM10.1 is the issue.

Why delete the slot? Why not just switch over to your stock rom when you want to watch Netflix and run cm10.1 the rest of the day?

My phone ended up getting so hot it shut itself off once while streaming video. I activated developer settings (go in to About Phone, hammer/rapid-tap Build Date, then a message displays, hammer-tap Build Number and you have developer settings activated), and forced GPU usage for 2D rendering. This didn't seem to have an effect on my battery life, and the phone also has only gotten warm from streaming since doing so. I've seen threads suggesting having GPU always on, as well as Wi-Fi and all to save battery, but this seemed to keep the phone cool as well as boosting performance and reliability. Try it out and get back to us! Hope it helps!... Also, try hammer-tapping on CyanogenMod version to see a modified version of the JB easter egg.

Simple fix for anyone still having GPS problems ;
Boot into your stock side,
use a root file explorer to copy System > etc > gps.config to a new folder on your external sd card.

Reboot back into slot 1,
Copy and paste that file from the sd card to /system
It will overwrite the existing file.
Reboot
Instant location lock-on in Maps and Navigation

Ok so here is what I did.

1. Downloaded

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

from the marketplace ON THE STOCK SIDE.

2. Once downloaded, use

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

to set the APN app to a system app by going to the app list, long pressing on the app, then scroll all the way to the bottom and pressing "convert to system app".

3. Go into the APN app and backup the APN settings. Ignore the warnings.

4. Reboot into cmod and install the APN app also.

5. Use titanium backup once again to do the same thing again but on the cmod side.

6, Now, go into the APN app and go into the setting menu thing by pressing the 3 lines button and press DIsable ICS check.

7. Now press the restore button and wait for the APN settings to be restored.

8. Reboot and enjoy working SMS and MMS.

Could not find back up files, how can I fix this?

I found my backup but, followed everything to a T and it did not work so I fell back to RC1.

Did you open maps first, search for your destination, then hit "get directions" then choose "navigation" at the bottom left?

Edit; are you on the latest version of maps? 6.14.3?
