Can't even do that. When I go to WiFi settings no networks pop up. It just says turning on WiFi.

Did you reboot and then try?

Question tho,
Within Performance settings I notice you cannot change the Min MHz settings it defaults to 300 MHz...Why?

Looking to move the settings from its current settings of 300 to 600 Min MHz to remove some or All of its Lags...its just a Hair-yaa

I'm running RC1 and it fixed my GPS issue that was just driving me insane. I know some people are complaining of an audio issue, but a fix permissions fixed that right up for me. The only issue I still seem to have is that I can't send any MMS messages through the stock app. I haven't tried a third party app yet. I can receive pictures just fine. Anyone else experience this?

On RC1, wifi tether is completely broken.

With the built-in tethering, I can enable the AP and configure WPA/WPA2 security and a password, but no device can stay connected to the AP for longer than a few seconds. Eventually, devices report a 'limited' connection and "ipconfig /renew" will fail to acquire an IP.

With 'WiFi tether for Root' from the play store, it shows two networks - "wlan1" and "Hidden Network". Neither are connectable.

 

I've already tried clearing cache/dalvik, fixing permissions, and multiple reboots. Does anyone have other suggestions?

My GPS hasn't worked in a long time. I'm on the RC right now and it still doesn't work. Does anyone have anyway of fixing this or is it still a bug for all of us?

• Navigation
• Locals
• Voice Search
• Google Settings

Everything is working with Directions...Verbally with Navigation and Basic directions with Visuals...

Maps works even though it sometimes shows me in the wrong location by about 2 streets. But the directions do work. What doesn't work is the Navigation it just says searching for GPS.

Notice your from the City Of Angels...Well, Navigations doesn't work but the Angels have the cutting edge from above...Just giving you a Hard time...

 

Okay, I just Cleared Cache...Cleared Data...Forced Close the Map Application...which means All has been Dusted n Cleaned...Total Wipe Out my friend...Song from Long Ago...

 

• When into Locals gave me the Updated Version...Its Working
• When into Maps...gave me My Home Location...Chose a location...It prompt me to Accept the terms and gave me direction to my location...Now this one is working...
• When to Voice Search...brought me to the location I requested...Prompt me to Call or Direction...This is working as well...
• Lasting, Voice Search...Requested Town Location...Bingo...give me the option to chose...

So, I am not sure Why but I would review any changes you've made in your System Apps, Freezes or maybe you Deleted Bloatware instead of Freezing...Deleting Bloat may cause other Apps not to work...Maybe my friend

Been rocking for almost 24 hours (since they put the RC up on the cyanogenmod home page).  Everything is working great for me (GPS, bluetooth, data) except for DSP.  Doesn't really matter as I use an external equalizer anyway but it's slightly annoying. 

 

I'm super pumped to be back on CM though.  I used to run CM7 religiously on my droid incredible and I've been waiting almost two years for a solid version on the RAZR.

You're Right my friend...It is an Awesome ROM...

 

Its funny you mentioned to be back on Cyanogenmod again...I Flashed it to give it a try wanting to try other ROMs and I cant leave this ROM...

 

However, I do have another Daily Drive which is Awesome too...Both are holding me Hostage...

With All the Members on this Forum...Were going to get this GPS going for you but we need some information...

• When you were on the Stock ROM...do you remember if you had any issues prior to Flashing Root
• Note, did your GPS Work on All ROMs including Stock
• After you Rooted your Phone did you notice any changes within your System Apps or any unusual change that would want you to do a Factory Reset back to Stock...Out of the Box
• Did you Freeze any Apps in Titiaum or ROM Manager
• Did you delete Bloatware...If so, Which ones
• Are you on Safestrap 3.11
• Did you Modify any apk or Cut n Paste other apk's from other ROMs to this one or any other for that matter...
• Did you notice any Performance Issues with your phone at that time before you Created any Slot ROM in Safestrap

Let start their...see where this leads us too...Okay Forum let help this Dude Out...

Lol don't get me wrong, I've been having trouble installing CM from time to time. Just glad I have it running right now. Haven't installed RC yet tho.

Lets talk your Phone...Its Not working on All Builds...You wouldnt be posting if it did my friend...

 

Which Build are you on...RC1? Or...

 

Have you tried Location Settings...Report from This device...Check it...Goto Offline and Cache...Clear all maps ..Clear my Places..

 

Reboot...

Thanks I really appreciate the response.

For the fist question my answer is, before rooting, my gps worked and also before flashing a new rom it worked.

I have only used CM since I rooted back in September.

Then I updated to the JB Kernel and the stock roms gps worked.

After I rooted I did not notice anything different in my System Apps.

I have never frozen any apps on titanium backup not on stock and not on CM, NEVER.

Never deleted bloatware, I think CM does a good job @ keeping it clean.

I am on SS 3.11

I have done a backup of all my apps on titanium backup and everytime I updated on nightlies I would restore my backups from the previous version only when I did a clean flash of course.

I'm going to try uninstalling maps and reinstalling also I'm going to use the stock slot to see if that works. I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks a million.
