[The Persuader]

I have always flashed clean by formatting system, dalvik , and cache then installing right in safestrap. Keeps all my apps and data and a fresh install of the rom. In safestrap it will not see the cmupdater folder so move the download to the root or to the sdcard root prior to rebooting to safestrap and wiping... Never can get the cmupdater to properly flash a new version. Something weird always happens.. :

Its All about the Tweaking the Phone... ...Its like a Leaking Dam...Put your Finger into one Leak....and it appears somewhere else...

 

Tweaking Sys Apps or Apk...The Loch Nest Monster will appear BUT,  Not where you expected...

Only thing I can think of is do you have external SD card set as primary storage? Cmupdater won't work when that's the case.

Heyo! Wanted to try something new, so i created rom slot 2, full wiped and installed this rom and the right gapps, and i'm getting bootloops. any suggestions?

What happened to the nightlies? The last I've seen is 20130502.

Cm is probably preparing for an m release. Not sure whether or not the omap phones are getting one this time or not, but usually nightlies stop for a few days before.

Got'er Working my friend...Hmmmm....Well, can not tell a lie...didnt do my Wipe-O-Roooos when I updated....Sheeeeeessshh...I did a Dirty Flash and I didnt even know it...

Nice! I'm pondering if I should do a dirty flash as well, as I noticed that when I take a pic and swipe to preview in gallery its blank. However as soon as I close camera and reopen then swipe I can see my pics. I do have "use SD card" set in camera settings but not in "system settings". This is the first time this has happened to me. Not too worried about it tho....

I used rom toolbox and changed the build property ro.config.nocheckin to 0.

 

Set device profile to jb wlan0.....

enable access control

check off routing fix if its not already.....

 

So far it works for me

So far it works with wifi tether for root users at 12 Mbps when its busy during the day and 20mb speeds late at night . You can get it free from the play store if its not already on the rom you use.

 

****A glitch I noticed...Even if I set the passphrase on the app when I log on the tablet im using (Nexus10) it does not make me put in the password. That is why to be safe we make sure we enable access control..... this way nobody will get service without you saying ok on your phone.......

you have to install to slot 1.  there's even a message at the end of install that warns about it.

I've never had an issue with built-in wifi tethering in CMod. If I ever do have an issue, I cycle my wifi adapter (on the connecting device, not the phone), or do "repair," and it works after that.

Just flashed the 05-06 build. Camera swipe to gallery with save to external SD enabled was fixed.

Check your Camara Setting to see where your Pics are being sent to...I'm not a swipe keyboard guy

Hey No Dirty Flashing..I screwed up not doing the proper protocols...thats why Wifi didn't work...
