I usually don't have problems with MMS when other folks do, but it's not working for me on 4/26. Just sits on "Sending..." Not sure yet if I can receive. I dirty flashed but also wiped cache/dalvik and fixed permissions.

No problems with mms here. I dirty flashed since 4/24, on 4/26 now. I only wiped cache /dalvik each update.

4/26 ran good all day for me yesterday. Had 1 minor issue with Tasker not correctly identifying my location via GPS. To correct this I used the fix I posted
. Everything ran nice & smooth after that.
Edit: Guess I should have waited a little longer to post. On the 4/26 build, just had the phone freeze up when I attempted to answer an incoming call. Rebooted to recovery, going to wipe cache/Dalvik & fix permissions. Hopefully that helps.

Okay, before any of you decide to try AOKP for better performance / battery life, don't even bother. The performance is about equal to the CM10.1, but the battery life is actually worse - yes... I said worse. With everything turned off (screen, syncing, bluetooth, gps etc...), my phone went from 100% to 79% just within 4-5 hours time.
I posted similar results from the CM10.1, but not nearly as bad as AOKP. I've gone back and forth between stock OTA and the kexec CM10.1/AOKP, and I must say the OTA lasts at least 30% longer.
I'm curious as to why the battery life is so much worse than the OTA. I could understand it might have something to do with kexec, but essentially all kexec is doing is allocating just enough space to load the kernel into. Are they deallocating the reserved space used for the stock kernel?

About to try 4/26. Still on 4/22 with no issues other than the audio quality is poor (for an audiophile like me). I shoved acid7 n beats down 4/22's throat and it made a big difference in sound quality. previous nightlies had better sound quality just before the release where the volume was very low (wonder why they are messing with it?). One other thing i have noticed on many roms including any that run kexec is that the screen at max brightness never gets as bright as the stock rom can. I did a major fail and freaked myself out. I accidentally flashed aosp acid on the stock rom (must have been sleep flashing), and it actually worked on the stock rom, but I decided to restore my stock rom backup to remove acid...that was a giant fail. restoring the stock rom fubar'd the whole system. after panicking for an hour, I finally used the droid utility to flash back to the leak, then upgrade to ota, then root...bla bla bla. I didn't bother to customize the stock rom, since I don't use it anyway (as i said before, moto broke any chance of getting decent audio for music with the ota). and my other roms were still 100% in tact after re-installing safestrap. after all that, i noticed the new utility to flash to the ota...my bad. I would like to know why aokp releases so-called milestones that, according to them, are stable when they have some of the basic phone's features still broke. then they update the milestone to fix the major issues when these things should be in nightly releases and milestones should be 99% bug free.

Moving over from JellyWiz, any opinions on whether 4/25, 4/26, or 4/27 is gonna be the best for a daily driver?

They all worked great for me; I'm on 4/27 right now no problems.

Is there anyway to get rid of the screen off flicker? Don't known why it bothers me but it does.
I know how you feel. AOKP has a setting where you can turn off CRT animation, and have the screen alternatively dim out slowly which I find to be more soothing. That is the only other option you have, unless you want to go back to stock which I am considering.

So I'm up and running on 4/27, I just have one issue. I came from JellyWiz, and have a Nandroid backup I want to restore my text messages from. I've tried both using AppExtractor from the Play Store and also just opening up the backup and pulling mmssms.db out of /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases and pushing it back into the new install. When I had stock Messaging installed, it just crashed after the restore, and Go SMS Pro says I have no messages. Any ideas?

I use SMS Backup+ and it has worked flawlessly for me. You would need to restore your Nandroid to use it though.
