[The Persuader]

Flashed 4/25...When the screen is locked and you receive a phone call, it locks up and goes black and crashes the phone/contacts app. Tried and repeated it several times. Not sure what is causing the issue but back to 4/22

As I've Said right along in my earlier Posts...

 

All Of my Phone issues with Lockups is with Lock screen...Happen yesterday and today...

 

All Version...

It happens when everything is syncing with Incoming calls or emails Etc... then Lock screen shuts down at the same time causing Black Screens or Lockups than having to reboot once or maybe twice...

 

Going to Update to 25 right now...

4/22 had audio n volume OK, but DSP manager stopped having any affect this afternoon. Flashed ver7 acid audio. beats seems to be working fine. n7 is functioning independently of beats, as it should and the eq is working.

Running 4/25 with bytecode's kernel flashed in. Delicious so far. Almost buttery, I would say.

Okay I have to ask this question...Just so I understand...

• Why does this ROM need to do so many Nightly Updates?
• Really don't notice to many things that are different
• Haven't had most of the issue we are having with CM 10.1 other than Blackscreens, Lockups
• The Only issues I have is Lockscreen possibly causing most of the lockup...Etc...
• Lastly, I really don't alter systems like most of you to keep things somewhat stable...However I think when you alter your system, changes then conflicts or begins with other System Apps...Noticed a lot in reading the posts with issues...
• Most ROMs do not have as many updates and Performance is find other than the misc conflicts that every ROM has...

Any Whooo, Awesome ROM one of 2 of my Daily Drive...

That's just the way Cyanogenmod is. Constantly trying to improve the product. If you are on a version you like with no problems, stay there. Nightlies are for crackflasherz

I'm okay with that response...Well my problem is I will always keep moving forward...If I do have issues...I usually figure it out and live with it for awhile so I know as I move forward what is different with each Nightly...

 

So far...Awesome...except for 17...

I dont think it has anything to do with the lockscreen, as it is the Contacts/Phone app that keeps crashing.

Well thar you have it...my issues happen when Lockscreen closed to dormant...
I would have never thought of Contacts/Phone

• Click on an Icon Opens Quickly
• Now Bluetooth is working
• No Conflicts with Other System Apps
• Phone is working fine
• Able to Open Emails with Phone Numbers Attached...Press and calls out
• Interfaces with other Launchers with no problems...Next L-Theme Launcher-Launcher Pro...

I'm running 3.27.2012 and my phone has been rock solid, up until yesterday when for the first time the phone app started locking up and freezing.  I cleared cache/dalvik cache and it seemed to get better.

 

I wonder if the phone app does any sort of monthly maintenance (I'd be about 1 month since install) that's triggering a bug.
