Anyone else having troubles with everything related to sound being very quiet on the latest 4/20 build?

Sound through the earpiece is barely audible, same for the speaker. Just tried making a call, too, and the person on the other end said *I* was coming through very quietly to them..

Just hoping it's not a hardware issue with my phone, heh.

I'm getting a solid 10 hours on 4.18... I guess we have to make some concessions if we want the latest Android version.

 

But today I was playing Gameboid and my phone got from full charge to 19% within 3 hours. I was only playing for an hour or so.

Every volume on the phone (phone calls, media, alarms) is almost silent, even on the highest levels. It must be a glitch with 4/20. Back to 4/18 again.

Never had decent battery life on CM 10.1 with the kexec kernel. I hear AOKP is slightly better and with the new milestone available, I think I will be giving that a shot.

Agree. I love the feel of cm10 so much better though!

I was on the 4/18 since it was released, two full battery drain cycles later, and the battery life has been awful. I averaged 11 hours of battery life.

 

Im not sure if thats normal or if I am experiencing some battery issues, since my phone is still jumping from 85% to 100% fully charged, even after the two drain cycles, and resetting battery stats.

I am Surprised that you haven't had more Issues with Locks/Reboots/Black Screens On #18 than issues with your Battery Life...

Still on 4/18 with no issues here. Sound is good, still have 70% battery 13.5 hours after charge on my maxx. Even after playing on the phone quite a bit.

Sound issue here as well. Also an issue with dhacker's latest LiquidSmooth nightly. Edit: looks like some sound stuff for Moto devices in the changelog for 4/20. Wonder if that's it.<br />

Is anybody else having trouble with the phone calls? I can't seem to accept calls, only initiate the call. Whenever somebody calls me, I can't get my phone's screen to turn on. 

 

Would it be worth trying a new phone app, or just trying out a new nightlie?

Try Nightly #15 or #19 those 2 are Stable

Does anybody have a link to the best set of instructions to try and build CM 10.1 for the XT912 (spyder)? I have come across both of the links below:

I have followed the directions two days in a row using what's on the Cyanogenmod wiki, and ended up with a zip file that I have been able to flash, but booting only ever yields a black screen and I have to reboot out of it back to another ROM.

 

I'd like to tinker with it and see if I can tackle the issue with Docks not working, because I use both a car dock and a multimedia dock, and the docks not working properly is unfortunately kind of a deal breaker for me. I don't need a lot of hand-holding, as I'm fairly well versed on building from source, just looking for hints, tips, and or general guidance to avoid another build that I can flash but not boot.

Can someone post the 4/15 build? I've tried all the ones available on get.cm (4/16-4/20) and nothing but issues with each one. I see a lot of posts with good results on 4/15.

 

On a side note, I haven't seen it mentioned but does anyone else have issues with homescreens/widgets not showing up? Just blank pages with no widgets. If I select a certain homescreen, then open the app drawer and hit back, that particular homescreen will show again but all others will be blank. I can change the homescreen to another, do the same thing then that one will appear, of course making the last one disappear.

Same here on 4/20 build. audio outputs are very quiet on all output sources... regular Phone calls, speaker phone, word headset, and Bluetooth. Any suggestions for a workaround? Is it possible that the openpdroid patch did it? Can't imagine, maybe tho. I'll report back a resolution if I find one.

lol i remember either a CM build or an AOKP build that had it so i tried it out on this. i love those little hidden things....
