For those of you having trouble with the 4/16 build, what kernel are you running?  I've tried both stock JB kernels (leak & OTA) by using

.  However it didn't seem to matter, I had issues with both.

I still haven't officially taken the OTA because I'm avoiding a full fastboot restore as long as I can.

Leak or ota shouldn't matter. All the cm10.1/aokp builds are kexec now. Kernel's included in the ROM.

I realize that, just wondering if anyone had any additional feedback.  I thought 1 might be working better than the other & it's easy enough to switch between the 2.

I'm trying to run this on the .16 JB. I'm having a ton of trouble with it, though. I managed to get CM started up once, but it didn't have the Gapps. When I tried flashing the apps, I haven't been able to start the phone on CM yet again.

I've given up for now, and just went to my Rom 2 slot, running the Rage ROM.

Why? Just back up your apps with Titanium or whatever and use Matt's utility to get on .16 It really is painless.
I was dual booting jb off 215 on stock side until the fastboot file came out. Made the switch and never looked back....

It was mainly the time investment.  I forgot that the JB fastboot files were available so I can go straight there.  Ooops!  Thanks for the reminder.  I already use TB to backup my apps & messages so that's already covered.

Performing a fresh install (Full set of wipes & delete/recreate Rom Slot 1) of the 4/16 build.  Had tons of problems dirty flashing - screen not waking up which forced me to hard reset.  After major changes to the build, every so often a fresh install is necessary IMO.  I can usually get through dirty flashing 3-5 nightlies before I have issues, but then things go crazy.  Time to start over.

Edit: On first boot, once again I was unable to get Wifi to turn on.  Going to reflash the rom & see what happens.

Edit 2: Reflashing the rom & gapps with only a cache/Dalvik wipe allowed me to get wifi going, but even with a clean slate to start with on this build, I was still having tons of problems, the most troublesome of which is the screen not turning back on.  For now I'm going back to Eclipse & will try again a few builds down the road.

I had the exact same issues you described. Tried dirty and clean install and screen still won't turn back on. I just went back to 4/15 it works fine for me.

Flashed 4/16 over 4/15, wiped cache/dalvik and fixed permissions. Lots of reboots and crashes. Looking forward to hearing if a clean slot is the answer here. Back to 4/15 for now.<br />

Flashed 16 an Hour ago...No Issues with Reboots...Didn't to Wipe Cache/Dalvik or Permissions...Haven't been and everything is working fine...

I've been on 4/16 all day no issues at all....what permissions are you referring to when you talk about changing them? Only thing I have noticed is data bars don't show up when connected to wifi.

Sorry your having these issues...I would take a moment to back track your process.

You might find a process you may have missed... Can't tell you how many times it was my protocol...

Currently on OTA .16 with No issues my friend

Flashed the 4/16 nightly, then immediately started experiencing problems with it. Screen wouldnt wake after being locked. Everytime I got a phone call, it would lock up, not showing a caller, and just rang until i shut it off.

Back to 4/15 for now.

The Lock Screen on this ROM may be our issue not the updates...

Any incoming sync to our phone seems to trip these issues...when the Lock Screen is shutting down is when Lockups, Blank Screens, Reboots occur... IMO
