Looks like the camera on 4/8 nightly is not working. I'm I the only one?

my cameras working on 4/08 - try wiping cache - wiping dalvik - & fixing premissions.

I think 4/7 introduced a "ST_Wake_Lock" battery drain, anyone else see that with BBS?

Btw, I suppose I shouldn't assume every dev here knows this. Dhacker, if you ever need a logcat or anything to help with debugging, I can throw you one. Btw, if you need something other than just a logcat, I'll need instructions, or, like, an XDA link. :P

any solution for the car dock? I tried moving the motorola dock service and helper apk to /system/app and installing, but got "cannot install application" error.

I use an app call "car dock" and it's companion "car mode" which are both free on the market. Best car dock I've found.

I think he was going for the auto-detect feature when docked. I asked about that, to, and it has something to do with a check digit that's generated --or something like that-- when docked. I suspect they'll get to it, perhaps. It is a phone-specific feature and could be low on the priority list. As for a program, Car Home Ultra. VERY customizeable!

Yes, I was. Unfortunately, lack of this feature is a show stopper for me, as I heavily use that with other automation software. This is the only thing that keeps from using this ROM full time. I do use Cyanogenmod on my HP Touchpad and I love it! Here's hoping that this feature is implemented sooner rather than later.

Right with you, guy! I'm a huge huge user of Motorola Smart Actions myself, and they don't work all that well without their little bitty access/support programs. Dock recognition is just one of them. Being so phone specific, I think we are at the end of the list of things to do in CyanogenMod. Bytecode was hot on the trail of merging CyanogenMod with Motorola blur, but he had to step away for an undetermined amount of time. I found the Aviator ROM a very close acceptable substitute.

Hello to everyone..

I live in Argentina and my carrier is Movistar.
I have a XT912 which bought it unlocked in the US.
The phone works flawlessly with the stock rom (SMS, MMS, 3G, etc)

Recently I installed CM10.1. It work very nice but I have to issues, I can't send SMS and 3G doesn't wort at all.
If I try to send a SMS it gives me an error even though I can receive SMS.
And 3G does not work even though I go to APN settings and enter the correct Movistar settings I copied from stock rom.

Any help will be appreciated...

Thanks in advance...

I use Tasker to automate car mode--shake my phone and away I go. Also, CarHome Ultra can be configured to open and put you in car mode when a certain bt connection occurs.

I'd also recommend Llama. I really liked Smart Actions when I first got the phone. But when it stopped working on a different ROM I was using, I gave Llama a try. It's not quite as intuitive but the big advantage is it uses the cell tower information already used by your phone to determine location which is much easier on the battery than GPS.

Yeah, but in my case I don't leave the BT on all the time to save battery. So I'm using Llama to detect when docked, and it turns on BT since I only use BT in my car.

Right... Llama, Tasker, various tools in the car home apps... Lots of solutions for folks in this area.

I wonder how much battery BT actually uses when it is idle...perhaps I should leave it on, and when it detects my car's BT I can instruct Llama to auto launch the Car dock app, which would solve my issue.

Any plans to fix cLock's weather being very finnicky? Seems like it feels like updating the weather whenever it wants to rather than when it's asked.
