Anyone having GPS be WAAY off on 3/30 nightly?
Maybe i'm just not used to CM10.1... I just came from a rock-solid Evolution 1.8 and was just itching to try something new since I had no issues for the last 3 months.
Evolution 1.8 was steady as can be with GPS, and locked extremely quickly. Especially important while playing Ingress. CM 10.1, however, seems to exacerbate the already known GPS problems in the new Ingress update (which I can say right now that it has more to do with the ROM and the phone than the app) - for sure 10.1's GPS doesn't lock as quickly, and when it does lock, it's about 50 feet away from actual location.

Trying to save myself some frustration by just asking here: Are there any recent nightlies that GPS works correctly on? And if so, is there anything that's broken or not working correctly in any release that GPS works great in??
Light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing. Visible forms are not inherent in the world, but are granted by the act of seeing.

For what its worth... Im on the 3/30 and used the gps for some geocaching and it was accurate within 5 feet which is normal.

For me on 3/30 I've never had it pinpoint me closer right to the roof of my house (never been that close before) where I live way out in the boondocks ...

I hope the battery issue gets resolved quickly. Unplugged my phone after a full charge before I went to bed... woke up 8 hours later and my phone was down to almost 60%. Anyone have any suggestions on governors/schedulers.

I'm hesitate about downloading the recent nightly as I keep hearing people saying that the battery % is getting stuck. Is this confirmed bug?

It's been my experience with flashing ROMs that MMS just doesn't ever work so I've essentially given up hope with it haha. In regards to this build, it will randomly start working for me when I least expect it, and then it will go away again. I don't really understand it, and won't pretend I can make suggestions. But it's certainly annoying for me as well.

Battery seems a little better/more stable with the latest nightly but that could just be placebo, who knows. Oddly enough I haven't had any MMS problems with this ROM from the beginning, works flawlessly for me out of the box.

That's so weird, yea I've heard that some people do also. For me it never once works until I mess with some APN stuff. But even then it gets spotty, in and out.

System Settings -> More -> Mobile Networks -> CDMA subscription

Change to NV. Wait a few minutes.........Change BACK to RUIM/SIM and then reboot

This should fix your MMS issues with Verizon. I have had to only do it once and that was when I first installed. I waited for a nightlies to get cranked out and then made the change to CM10.1 myself. All good since. Waiting on full charge and then flashing the 4/1 Nightly on top. I have had some minor issues with black screen, random reboots, and GPS....all fine after just clearing the cache. I am still seeing random GPS issues here and there, but they ALWAYS seem to be when I am on WiFi and the signal is poor or I am on a poor network. The moment it switches over to 4g, ZERO issues on WiFi

4/1 build seems to be spending more time in deep sleep. If so, and not just crackflashing placebo... Good stuff. Anyone else seeing this?

On the 4/1 and the phone gave me a black screen overnight while charging. Of course I woke up late since I use my phone as my alarm clock too. Had to reset the phone manually. No other problems yet otherwise.

Flashed the 10/1 build and everything seems to be working perfectly.

Major difference from the first release...so glad Moto released the libs and bins and whatnot needed to make a jellybean build work :)

Seems as if the battery life has nearly doubled. Been off the charger for 3 hours, with 2 ~5 minute phone calls and minimal phone use. Sitting at 96% at the moment which is more then I can say from last week.... By now, I would be at 80% at the most.

I've been considering upgrading the maxx to a s4 or note, but with cm10.1 on here and doubled battery life i may have extended this phone's usage life for a year or two. So far for me i've had a few random crashes but nothing major.

4/1 build is definitely improved in terms of battery life. I've had random issues with blackscreens and subsequent failed reboots. In the past, a fix permission and cache wipe from SS remedied, but I've had to delete the rom in a few instances.

Sorry if I missed this, but I managed to get sd card working, but in camera, it only shows pictures I have taken with the camera, not the other pictures in camera folder... any ideas why?

Also, I have no mobile data at all. I tried the dialer with *#*#4636#*#*, tried picking LTE/CDMA auto. No mobile data. Anyone know what I should do. I searched this thread, couldn't find anything about it.
