I am really loving this rom but it still has its issues. It is fast and love the layout. The only but major issue I have had is that it locks up randomly and will not wake back up. I do not know if this is due to a governor like some of the other roms have had but from what I can see if the reboots and locks are fixed this would be a permanent daily driver!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

I unplugged this morning at 5 am and it is now 11:04 and I am already at 51%. Please look at the battery issues. Also when I flashed the Nightly 03/23, when the phone boots up I get an Android.Process.Media FC. Anyone else?

if anyones having bettary issues, prolly a good idea to do a clean install. had my phone unplugged for 5 hrs, streaming music off google music and youtube and only down to 59% and i get horrible 4g reception in my office. battery life for me has been great considering no tweaks or anything.

SO FREAKING RIDICULOUS. I was so happy about this ROM that I had to use caps. That's saying something.

My point was, if something's not working for your special situation, learn to develop custom roms and fix it yourself.

This task might prove difficult for someone with little/no experience, especially when most guides won't be written in their first language. It was a bug report.

Well I'll quote a tweet from @dhacker29 ;

Just FYI I don't post forum threads, don't do changelogs, I build $#!+ that works for me and post links...the rest is up to you

It was a bug report.

A bug report would have been "installed but network bars don't show up." adding "pls fix" is demanding a specific fix for a specific user in a specfic situation. As was posted, dhacker isn't going to browse threads looking for "bugs" to fix.

Battery life isn't as good for me as on stock ROMs, but I don't think CM10.1 is fully optimized for battery life yet. Saw somewhere that disabling HW overlays in Developer Options will activate deep sleep and I see that it does. Gonna see what happens to the battery overnight...

In the same boat with battery. I'll try the same setting and see what I get. As soon as battery life is optimized this ROM will be almost perfect. Still getting the occsssional issue with mms and lock screen hanging up and needing a reboot. Overall this ROM is awesome! Thanks to the devs and all the hard work.

I've had absolutely no problem with battery life. Light use today and I managed to maintain 72% charge up until this point. I unplugged around 7:15AM. It is currently 10:30pm

I wish I knew how you were doing that. I run at least half of my day with data completely off, and I am only getting 15 hrs total out if it. I have cleared the ROM slot and re loaded several times. I am trying this method of disabling hw overlays today but its not looking good. Already lost 5% in the first 45 min unplugged.

Right. CM10.1 uses Kexec so it will flash on either .8 or .16.

I think what a lot of people expect is that these ROM's are ready out of the Box to use. But the tend to forget that they are FREE. And I would suspect not many of them Donate to the Developer. The Developer isn't selling a product, but people lose site of the fact most of these ROM's are like a Hobby and are works in progress. Software development is forever changing. Peolpe having problems with there phone need to trouble shoot and see what excatly is affecting the performance, should it be and app running in the back ground or and app that doesn't jive with certian settings.

Just installed & so far I am liking this rom very much. I'll give it a few days of use before I worry about battery life. I so glad camera works and sd card is mounted properly. I did notice that I don't have su app icon on my app drawer. I know it is installed because TB, Root explorer, Adaway, Voodoo, Safestrap, etc had all asked for and were granted root access. Anyone else?
