is this still only on the 41 kernel? or can i flash on the 16? thanks in advanced :)

These are all Kexec now so it won't matter what kernel you are on.

Definitely still having the heat/battery drain issue. Reflashed original ROM clean twice and no fix. Seems like its struggling to hold a data connection and that's doing it. Just surfing the web seems to do it. Wish there was a fix losing about 4% an hour with data off and light to no use, 7-15% an hour with good data connection and moderate use.

I think what you're looking for is inbrseybert post from yesterday using APN to get soft Navy keys? Works well if that's what you're trying to get

Mine is killing at least 7-10% an hour battery just being in my pocket.

Yes update to the nightly 3/20 version.. works great and mms is working.. no need for any wipes.. if you cant get it to reboot then do an old fashion 'Fix Permissions' from safe strap.. Kick rear end hash!!

So I've never dirty flashed before, just want to make sure I'm doing it right

So I boot into Safestrap, then wipe my dalvik cache, then wipe my cache,
THen I go into install, then I install the 3/21 Nightly Spyder zip over my current 3/12. Is that correct? anything else I need to do after that?

I've been getting 14-16 hrs of battery life using mixed wifi and 4G. Remember 4G eats up regardless, and this is a completely ground version of the ROM- no tweaks added unless you put them in yourself.

As for the heating issue, I recommend having a screen off and screen on protocol in addition to having CPU sleeper. I lower mine down to 600 and interactive, then come back fully clocked to ondemand with no waking issues. Hope this helps, but remember the custom ROMs based on these will more likely have better battery life and performance.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue.....I am using the nightlies, and tried to update to todays. When I reboot the updater cannot seem to find the file. Its on my external sdcard but the updater fails because it wants the file to be on the internal. Moved it over and it works....

I did get an Unable to locate page (clear_vars) message during update....but install continued and the updater says I am up to date.

I'm having this issue too. You can either copy the nightly to the internal storage then let the cm updater do its work or move the nightly in bootstrap and flash it manually. Cm nightly downloader saves to the wrong place

flashed the 3/21 build, but the dialer and homescreen kept crashing. flashed back to the 3/20 then to the 3/23 build, working flawlessly now!

Im not really interested in having the onscreen soft keys, I was just curious if I was missing some settings, but those settings seem like they are only available with soft keys activated. Thanks tho!

I cannot seem to get these to boot. Fresh install in slot 1, it boots yo safestrap menu than when tries to boot, is just a black screen,it vibrates once but never does anything. Tried the newest nightly and the newest on goo. Any suggestion?

Flashing Rom (from get.cm/?device=spyder) and gapps?

Also to answer the question about themes asked earlier in the thread, search the play store for CM10 themes, apply them through the settings menu

I've tried both ways. Just ROM and with ROM and gapps. It never gets to boot animation. Slot 1 running job ota on stock side. I've tried a few earlier versions off of goo and still same. Black screen just sits there it vibrates once

it installed fine for me but my only advice would be to delete the ROM slot and create new slot. That has solved issues for me in the past

My BT won't stick. It works fine on first boot then won't turn on after a reboot. Tried several reboots and reflash with wipe/reset always same result. Only got BT on first boot. Anyone can please tell me if your BT sticks after reboot?
