Been having trouble with SMS; when they arrive during a phone call i see the notification up top but they don't appear in Messages. Help!

This seems to be related to the No APN message I'm seeing. Not sure how to fix other than reinstall.

I installed the 3/19 nightly and now my phone locks after hitting the power button. Also, there's only one option under 'automatically clock's which is immediate. And if I select it there's no way to un-select any more.

After my wipe and re-install I no longer get the no APN message, though it usually occurs when I try to send an MMS with a picture so I'll have to see if it comes back. Thanks for the help though.

I gotta say, I've done this so many times, and each time I get stuck figuring out which version of gapps goes with which cm version.

The 20140105 version here -

does not install with the nightly CM 11 20140319. I get a FAILED TO INSTALL ZIP. The gapps that did install is gapps-kk-20131208-no_set_metadata.

@PillClinton: Hey, I've been hanging over at xda and have posted about the Bluetooth voice prompt problem. My latest is

, so far, no one seems to know/want to discuss the problem. All KitKat ROMs I've tried, with original or JBX kernel have the same problem. Maybe an OMAP4 incompatibility the devs haven't found yet... The voice prompts when you press your headset call button sound like digital garbage, right? Meanwhile, all media audio from the phone, including synthesized voice from navigation works fine over Bluetooth.
Maybe Hashcode, dhacker or dtrail might have a comment on this, I, for one, don't want to give up KitKat just because I'm stuck on "last year's superphone".

So my problem persists. I'm now on the 3/28 nightly and every time I try to send an MMS (picture and text) I get the no APN specified error. Is anyone able to send one successfully? I've even changed my network from global to cdma+lte/evdo with the same result. Just looking to hear if someone has this working to see if I need to change something else.

I'm currently using the 3/23 nightly and have no APN problems. Might have broken again, I know the orange bar problem has come and gone a couple of times.

So lessee, the APN issue is fixed on 3/28; how about the orange bars (Google server drops) or the not recording video inside an MMS? Just trying to stay on top of the recurring build bugs is hard enough from this end, glad I'm not a Dev

Are you able to send a picture MMS?
That's where it breaks for me on 3/28.

I know this is retro, but have you tried dialing *228, option 2, then send the MMS again?

Yep, tried that as well as hitting #1 to program my phone, still get no APN specified error when sending picture MMS.

The only outstanding items currently are that I can't prevent my phone from requiring a PIN entry if I push the power button and when receiving a text, it doesn't disappear from the notification bar unless I click the read button, clicking on the message which brings me to the text app doesn't remove the notification anymore.

Oh, and docking doesn't work either. I expect the docking app to launch when I plug my phone into my nightstand docking station, but perhaps I'm missing some app for that?
