It makes perfect sense to me. The battery saver app probably turns the radio gain down which will conserve a lot of power. I don't use any battery saver app.

Its must be a Fine Line with the Radio Signals gearing Down to Conserve Battery Life...Connections with Radio Frequency for Internet connection is  definitely impacted by it...

 

The only Batter Saver I am using is Juice Defender Ultimate...I'll pick up as much as 2 hours on Aggressive Settings...Extreme to conserve more Live...It Buries the Bone to deep for Good Connections and Interrupted with drop connections...

Set everything back to source of Origin...working fine with Absolutely No Issues with the Internet Connections at All...

 

 This ROM is the Balzzzz so far...

 

Consider as your Daily Drive...  Hands Down

Well my Friend...Tell yaa what...I will leave this Slot Open Just for you Guys...ASOP, BLUR...Have to try them All...So Far, Not Married to one or the other These Dev's do One Hell'va Job keeping this Soon to be Fossil xt912 Alive...

 

Sure Wished they would Unlock this Sucker to give it its Last Harray...I read somewhere you can get a Code to Unlock...Is this True...?...

 

Must have been a Dream...Memnoch...gave me more Hahahaha thinking an Unlock is possible...then their are Letters in the Alpha Bet....Theirs 45 Letters Right!!! : Maybe 40...Google Search...

My last post on this experience with Battery Savers...

 

Since I made my changes trying to conserve Battery Life with Battery Settings...It Does impact Internet Connections...

 

IMO...

 

But a Fact remains with me "For Sure"....Battery Apps could be a Hidden issue with Internet connections....Whether 3G, 4G or LTE...

I don't use a battery saver app and have had very frequent drop out with no 3G on previous revisions. I have been running 4.4.1 all day on WiFi buy will have a go at LTE and 3G tomorrow.

As far as I know the only ones that can get an unlock code are the dev editions but I could be wrong. It happened once...

You are correct with the Unlocked Dev Edition...

 

So I guess its safe to say, I am stuck...Lock, Stock (Rooted) and Barrel...with my Awesome Phone...

Running this in Slot 2 with the 12-08 gapps.

 

So far, so good. Restoring...

 

First thing I noticed: when an app is restored, the CPU pegs out (adb/top) on one core, presumably as the APK is recompiled for ART. Hopefully, Google will thread the ART compiler down the road.

 

Does anyone know if TiBu restores a JB backup to KK correctly (including the ART recompile)?

 

EDIT: TiBu works fine w/ ART. Devil magic.

 

Has anyone gotten VZW 3G to work? I have no LTE here, and it didn't work with 10.2 either. I'm set to defaults (Global/NV).

I flashed over 10.2 not realizing this was a new build.  I quickly updated G-Apps and the JBX Kernel before rebooting.  The issues I have are as follows:

 

I seemed to have "lost" all the apps on my SD card.  Trying to search for a fix has come up empty.  Also I keep hiding the battery indicator and it keeps reappearing.  Wi-Fi is refusing to connect even after running wifical.sh in terminal emulator. (Edit - Wifi now working after a third reboot)

I can't flash the new version. I can wipe and reflash 10.2 but not 11. Cm hates me. It is now official.

Flash back to CM 10.1...than flash CM 11...10.2 just has too many conflicts... At least for me anyway

The latest CM11 nightly (20131216) seems to have working 3G. At least for me the 3G starts to work again.
