I haven't tried flashing anything on stock since that's where SS is.

No no....

Do not flash anything in Hard Stock...Rooted Stock only...You can but I wouldnt...Use to do it back in the Droid X Days...

 

Hard Stock...Not Rooted..."Factory Out Of The Box"

Stock Rooted ...Rooted to Customize your Phone

 

When I Upgraded to Safestrap 3.60...When back to Stock Rooted to Update...Seriously, trying to figure out Why you cant Upgrade to CM 10.2 from your Current status now...

No no....

I know, I'm bumfuzzled. I have tried all sorts of variations and can't get it to work. Now that Blurry v2.0 is out I thought I would try it because I loved the first one he did. Well, I can't flash it either. I can still only flash r3ds to any slot I want. I have it in slot 1, rooted stock on stock and I have tried different partition sizes on slots 2 and 3 with multiple wipes and flashing from internal SD and external SD.

Okay look at this...

 

My thinking is this...

If your on 10.1 its specific to the Gapp shown adjacent to, which is 4.2.2...However, it was Tested on Safestrap 3.11 to function or Flash this ROM...but not on 3.60 SS

CM 10.2.x Gapp 4.3.0 20130813
CM 10.1.x Gapp 4.2.2 20130812

 

So, your currently on the above with your Phone... (CM 10.1.x Gapp 4.2.2 20130812) but in addition to...go Back to Safestrap 3.11 instead of 3.60

 

Now, On your Phone go to:

  • Personally, I would create a New Slot...Do All the Wipes...Both Caches, Factory and System...Then to
  • Settings...
  • About Phone...
  • Cyanogen Updates
  • Update Type
  • All Versions
  • chose Ok
  • Then try Updating to the New Version of CM 10.2 
  • After the Download Reboot...

You know the Drill with Backups, prior to changes or updates...If that works,

 

  • Go Back to Stock Root to Update to Safestrap 3.60
  • Find Safestrap Icon...In your Draw or Desktop
  • Open to 3.11
  • Than UnInstall 3.11
  • Than Flash the New Version of Safestrap 3.60
  • Should do everything for you without having to change or Cop apk's

Hopefully, this works or it will give you other Thoughts to process

Ok that all makes sense. I'm not running any cyanogen now do I should try to flash it then let it update to 10.2 or will it update from 10.1 to 10.2? It's strange that I can flash what I already have but nothing more...

Ok that all makes sense. I'm not running any cyanogen now do I should try to flash it then let it update to 10.2 or will it update from 10.1 to 10.2? It's strange that I can flash what I already have but nothing more...

You should be On Cyanogen 10.1 to Flash to 10.2 and be on Safestap 3.11

 

Its easier to go the the First Post on this Thread to get to Cyanogen 10.1 and follow the Protocol 

 

My mistake, I thought you were on Cyanogen 10.1...when you complete the flash you should be able to get t0 10.2

 

Flashing Other ROMs on Safestrap 3.60 may be a Challange...If the Devs haven't modified the ROMs...3.11 should be Okay for All ROM Flashing...

Ok. So you can't flash directly to 10.2? Other people have already gotten blurry 2.0 to flash in 3.60 so I guess it's probably something I'm doing.

Create a Fresh Slot and do all the Wipes prior to Flashing CM 10.1...

You should be able to if you back on Safestrap 3.11

I just prefer Motorola brand phones. Some people can flash whatever they want and some have to flash standing on one foot, balancing their phone on their nose at a 32.653432 degree angle, only on the second Tuesday of the month. Oh, it must be a blue moon and your grandmothers birthday.

Hmm, I never seem to have problems flashing, though I only ever flash CM 10.2 nightlies and on to my stock slot. Never used any other slots.

Motorola and Samsaug are the Best Out their right now in my Opinion...Well, I will flash anything to check out the ROMs before I make judgement on Performance...

Did you try wifical.sh from a terminal emulator of some sort?

Ditto on no more birthdays and I like Motorola except that they decided they didn't want us to enjoy our phones. (Locked boot loader)
