im having an issue with cm updater. a few days ago it asked me if i wanted to update, so i said ok. problem is the file is still downloading. i thought i should reselect the update and now it has 3 files downloading and wont go away. everything else is working fine. the update its trying to get is cm-10.1.3-RC2.

I always download from the cm website thru the browser and install manually. No fails, no probs. And you can cancel the downloads. always seems to be probs with the cm updater so why not just bypass it. That's just me tho.

What I have found...Most of time when Apps/WiFi/BT and Misc stuff are NOT working well...its from Interrupted Downloads...

Example: Receiving Emails, Texts, Phone Calls while Downloading Updates or ROMs seem to me to be some of the issues with ROMs not working or Performing well...

When I reflash the Update or ROM...

I strayed from the pack and tried a stock based ROM for about 12 days...so slow and no where near as smooth as CM. I missed the display dimming and the other little features offered on top of the speed and smooth nature, so I am back.

3g data is now working on the latest nightly. Woohoo! The icon will state 3g but won't show the upload / download icon. Other than that I am able to use cm 10.2 now. Seems a bit laggy with apex... Going to see how smart launcher compares bc apex was a bit laggy on 10.1.3 rc2 as well (just switched to apex for the first time in ages). Either way I am happy that 3g finally works!

I'm a Nova Launcher guy myself. Been running smooth, though a tiny bit if lag sometimes when just coming out of the lock screen. Haven't investigated why though.

Since I'm deployed, my phone is only used tied to wifi. Magic Jack for calls, Kik messenger for texts. I have wifi all over the base so I have it in airplane mode with wifi on. So I do know anything about cell issues maybe when I get home I'll notice them lol.

Sounds good, thanks! I was planning on going to it, and then yesterday at some school I was working at phone started messing up and I had to reflash (the old nightly I was on).

Just happens to work out now that it's all messed up I may as well go and upgrade my stock side rom and safestrap and everything!

Periodically, I get a message on my unlock screen - at the bottom - "No SIM card detected." I reboot, wipe cache and dalvik, everything is fine for like a week, then no data, same message. Anyone else experiencing this?

I've had that problem before and it turned out that the sim card was getting kind of loose. I just removed and reinserted the sim and it has been fine ever since.

I stream audio to my radio without problem. It does not utilize the phone book at all.

083013 Nightly

 

Just lost all Wifi ability to my ASUS  dual router. 

Phone settings shows both SSID's but says NOT IN RANGE.

Rebooted several times, removed  2.5/5 networks and re added several times.

Able to see other neighboring networks, but not mine.

All other wireless devices in home see ASUS, except my phone.

STOCK side of Ss is fine. Appears to be a Rom Went Bad issue:-)

What could have happened to cause disconnect?  Very strange.

If u have had similar issues, pls advise.  Rebooting and removing hasn;t helped.

RC5 ran really good.   May have to go back?  Any help is appreciated

Also on 9/18 build..runs great!..got my RAZR set up sweet!...using next launcher and dynamic notifications...not even thinking about getting a new phone anytime soon... Keeping my unlimited data!
